Covid is still around in Sydney, being found in sewer testing, and less people are coming forward for testing as the number of daily new " community transmissions" every day is zero.
State govt yesterday was warning about "Covid complacency"... probably horrified at all the hugging, kissing, and close talking going on.
Trains still only allowed to run at no more than 46% capacity.

If you were deliberately breaking the lockdown laws, you were seen by some to be a traitor to the cause.

Elections matter. Elections for sheriff can matter quite a lot.

President Trump's filing with SCOTUS, seeking to intervene in the proceedings, seeking to support Texas' claim:

https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/22/22O155/163234/20201209155327055_No.%2022O155%20Original%20Motion%20to%20Intervene.pdf

This won't fly, either. But I especially love the section mentioned in the ToC of "Additional Facts Facts."

Herd immunity ...wasn't embraced by ScoMo, Josh and the rest of the bambuland federal and state govts, although former no1 radio host and others were doing their best to promote it.
To their credit though the first thing they always said was to "protect the most vulnerable in the community"..which was basically impossible because people from outside aged care facilities had to enter them to work and provide goods.

The sight of adult children on the TV news hanging on wire fences outside aged care facilities, in tears and begging for the lives of their parents..."they
are being locked in their rooms to die"...was too much to bear.
Little children outside the aged care facilities with photos " we want to see Nanna"...likewise.
Grown men hanging on wire fences, crying...something is terribly wrong.
We the People were outraged, ScoMo was outraged, action was taken.
'Herd immunity" was banished before it had a chance to exist.

Barton - you WOULD comment on a mass shooting - and have.

That's the point.  OUTRAGE for you is specific to a certain type of death.  You value some over others....

I've never seen you post any outrage over cockfighting.  Pretty clear how little you care about the poor chickens.

Look for the Right Echo Chamber (REC):

Peter Weber
Wed, December 9, 2020, 2:00 AM EST

It was only for an hour, but Newsmax beat Fox News among the coveted 25- to 54-year-old demographic for the first time Monday evening, CNN Business reports. Newsmax's Greg Kelly Reports beat Martha MacCallum's Fox News program in the 7 p.m. hour, bumping MacCallum down to No. 4 in cable news, behind Erin Burnett on CNN and Joy Reid on MSNBC.

"Before the election, Newsmax was not regarded as a formidable competitor to Fox; it was mostly dismissed as one of a handful of wannabe challengers," CNN's Brian Stelter reports. "But President Trump's loss on Nov. 3 changed the cable TV calculus. Viewers who were frustrated when Fox admitted the truth of Trump's loss sought other options," and "Newsmax — and Kelly in particular — offered a safe space in which Biden was not called president-elect and Trump was not yet defeated."

When he first posted,  it wasn't clear "boogie" referenced a rapper stage name.  When I saw later that "A Boogie in New Jersey..." was not a typo of "A boogie in New Jersey..." , I removed my post.    End of puzzle.

It doesn’t untaint Kiid’s meat one bit, I got that well before you deleted it. Kid could have provided a link, but I think it got cleared up somewhere down stream.

Kid is a very funny sort of loser.

It might be because anyone sitting in Georgia looking at the loser maniacs front and center in the republican fold, from Florida to Idaho, or the states ready to secede (again) with the dumb & dying half of Texas and it’s stupid lawsuit, has to vote for Ossoff and Warnock even setting aside that Perdue and KKKelly are useless crooked maniacs both impediments to public wellbeing.

Ohio State - Michigan game canceled this year.

Covid turned the event into a trump wall, something that was built up huge that, after a typhoon of waste and fuck up, turns out to be absolutely nothing instead except huge risk and loss.

Now it will be attended by a trump inauguration crowd of spectators, which is self-explanatory. It will also generate a trump fortune worth of revenue for the schools.
