I bet if Trump had his "BIG MISSILE" Veteran's Day celebration/parade on Penn Ave he'd show up rain or shine.

Because he'd convince himself its about him and his manhood, and not those poor saps who actually gave their lives fighting for this country.

About 9 months ago, Aetna was slammed by the admission of its former medical director that he did not look cases before deciding on them.

They got nailed with $25 million in penalties in the case, to send a message to change their ways.

The President who is unwilling to stand in the rain to honor military deaths is, OTOH, willing to point the finger at first responders to the firefighters in California for their somehow not doing it right.

This must be another of his areas of expertise, like health care; mideast peace, voter fraud, crowd size, invasions, and climate change.

Actually the Dark Side of Trickle Down = Deficits (and the interest on them).  Extra and excess debt.

Then there's a choice.  Raise taxes when the tax cuts fail to pay for themselves as promised.  Or cut spending. 
And btw, there are numerous billion dollar companies paying zero corporate tax.

Then when the plutocrats opt for the latter, there's still a choice of what spending to cut.  Defense and corporate welfare could be reduced.  Also agriculture spending/welfare.  It doesn't have to be services for the needy (mostly elderly, women with children, and the sick).

It's all a matter of choices and priorities, which often is played like a rigged shell game.

Really the dark side (ie hidden evils) is the increasing inequality which has a pernicious effect on society and politics.
