14th Amendment, Section 3.
“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”
It only takes two thirds majority in both houses for trump supporters to hold positions of public trust again. Start with both houses of Congress but narrowly restrict it to only those who voted for challenges to the EC counts (a lot in the house, a few in the Senate) and expand it to anyone in office that any official investigation roots out. This is especially important among the military and police forces. It would be nice to know there are no longer coup supporters on benches or school boards or ag councils either.
It would also bar 70-80% of political appointees in the misadministration, including Jared & Ivanka, though not Don Jr. or Eric, from ever serving as anything again.
Bill Barr will be barred from ever whitewashing another corrupt republican administration for the rest of his miserable life.
In addition, President is an office of the United States by every definition. Is retiree also an office? If so there are some out of office and soon to be out of office who may have something to lose in terms of pensions, health benefits, and taxpayer funded protection.
