So the question is not who will win the election?   Sinema won but...might not accept the job?   I'm afraid this wit is growing too convoluted for me.

Texas students may soon be learning that slavery was a major cause of the Civil War!

Sinema will take the seat, but she might be seated after McSally.

Jon Kyl indicated when he took it that he did not want it long term. It would surprise nobody in AZ if he were to resign. And if he is going to do that, doing it prior to the first day of the new term would allow McSally to gain a small bit of seniority on the rest of the class, including Sinema - she would be "the senior Senator from Arizona," for example.

Introducing the newest Virgin company: Virgin Trains USA

https://www.virgin.com/richard-branson/introducing-virgin-trains-usa

---------------

Richard Branson is entering the train business in the USA. He is welcome here, and hopefully more rail projects happen.

Salute,

Tony V.
There is a risque joke in the concept of "virgin train" but I am not up to it right now.

Virgin Train: We'll take you most of the way there.

Virgin Train: We're saving ourselves for the right client.

Virgin Train: Yes you can enter through the caboose...

I knew Kyle was stepping down,  and that Dicey could put McSally in with a penstroke, but hadn't realized he would want to step down so quickly.   Is the shiny bauble of seniority that big a deal,  it's a real question I guess.   Though one that induces mild nausea at the pettiness of it all.

Headline topic on my no 1 radio station today..."The 'Me Too' group ...all it takes now to ruin a man's life is for a woman to make an allegation, whether or not it's factual".
"It's one way traffic at the moment, but that might change in the future".

Indeed it might.
Men won't be putting up with this tripe forever.
All it takes now to ruin a woman's right is for a man to attack her, asshole.

Clever of everyone to wait and do Josh's new poll AFTER the winner was declared in AZ.

I think I know who one of the 2 wiseguys might be.
Actually, there is a chance McSally is technically the next Senator. Kyl's appointment to fill McCain's seat only lasts until the end of the year. The talk has always been if she lost McSally would get that seat. Swearing her in first to make her senior to Sinema is precisely the type of dick move I expect from Republicans.

Kyl only agreed to serve until 1/1/19. I think it might actually be in his appointment.

By the way the governor's name, according to my wife, is Duechey. I do not correct her.

A better map for understanding the relationship of Red to Blue in the US:

Stacey Abrams concedes defeat in Georgia.
But despite getting fewer votes she maintains
“ democracy lost”.

Sure.

Wisconsin Business Gives Guns to Its Employees as Christmas Bonus

A Wisconsin company is presenting its employees a controversial Christmas bonus: A gun.
"My dad and I talked about it. First, it was for personal safety,” Wolfgram told InsideEdition.com. “The second part, we thought it would be fun for our employees.”
They gave a $500 price range and allowed employees to pick any gun they wanted within that budget.

“We had a couple [people] buy a Smith & Wesson,” Wolfgram said. “One guy got an AR-15.”
Wolfgram said two of the employees opted not to get guns because one said “she had enough at home” and the other “didn’t think she would use it.”

#####

Cool.
Now they'll be able to shoot violent home invaders, and people raping 7 yr olds in toilet blocks...unlike in Australia where homeowners just have to get bashed to a pulp in their homes with no weapons with which to fight back, and get stabbed multiple times when trying to rescue the 7 yr olds from rapists.

Next Christmas I recommend all the employees be given Rambo knives for their bonus.

The bad people lurk in the shadows, waiting to pounce...the moment you get security-careless.

And what would Redd have said, had it been a Democratic Secretary of State who locked away tons of voting machines, creating artificial shortages; who had deleted hundreds of thousands of voters' names from the register, claiming they had moved when they had not; and who then was overseeing the vote count process?

We all know what he would have said and thought.

But it wasn't, so whatever Kemp did to win was okay with Redd.

Horrible, if it happened.
It didn’t.

Broward County's recount is being ignored by the state of Florida, which says it was two minutes late.

Thanks for the memo

Being ignored because those are the fucking RULES

In late because it was intentional, Republicans having been aided by the new count.
