DONALD TRUMP
---Former White House counsel John Dean—one of the central figures in the Watergate scandal of the 1970s—implied that President Donald Trump’s behavior in the White House was more extreme than that of disgraced former President Richard Nixon.

“If I had to channel a little of Richard Nixon, I think he’d tell this president he’s going too far. This is the sort of stuff of a banana republic. This is what an autocrat does.”---

Much crazier but it may be a lunatic the folks are looking for.

it is more pronounced if you look at Stage Legislatures, a subject Red.seems to not broach when arguing this election 'conclusively" shows no gerrymandering.

Case in point, Wisconsin:

Packing and cracking in Wisconsin state districts.  Some of that in SD,  too.   The central part of Rapid City would elect a Democrat,  but they cracked it open into sections that stretch way out into rural areas.   And we still came much closer this time.

In 2016, SD had the widest "efficiency gap" in the nation.

Same playbook as the GOP efforts at voter suppression;
---
LOL

If it was voter suppression it failed miserably since voting turnout records were set all across the country and democrat made big gains in the House and recovered some of their previous losses at state levels. Turnout was up 12% nationwide with democrats getting 53% of the vote.
In Georgia Stacey Abrams, black candidate for Governor, came closer to winning a statewide race in the conservative State than any other democrat there in 20 years.
Still Abrams charged the winner, former Secretay of State Brian Kemp, with “ systemic disenfranchisement, disinvestment, and iincompetence. “. She overlooks that Georgia has grown its registrations by 20 per cent this decade, turnout was up 16,4%, and her
vote totals in two predominantly black counties was up  90% and 62% over the last mid-terms in 2014.

If Kemp was suppressing the vote he did a particularly shitty job of it.

"Racism is over now, we elected a Black President."

That obstacles can, on occasion, be overcome doesn't mean they aren't there.
Obama was on the ballot in 2008 and 2012.  Georgia voter rolls swelled after  2010, 2014, and 2018 mid terms. What obstacles are you talking about?

This is what grandma meant when she said, “Child, in this whiteman’s world you’re always going to have to be twice as good to get half as much.”

It's not just Kashoggi's death that's on the house of Saud....

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/nov/21/yemen-young-children-dead-starvation-disease-save-the-children

Quote
An estimated 85,000 children under the age of five have starved to death over the last three years as a result of Yemen’s civil war, a report from Save the Children has found, as the charity urged an immediate ceasefire to prevent more loss of life.

The figure is a conservative estimate based on UN data on severe acute malnutrition, which the international body says has afflicted more than 1.3 million children since the conflict between Houthi rebels and the Saudi-led coalition that seeks to restore Yemen’s exiled government began in 2015.

About 14 million people – half of Yemen’s population – are currently at risk of famine, largely because of Saudi border blockades designed to weaken the Houthis, which have also strangled civilian access to food, fuel, aid and commercial goods.

When you weaponize starvation of civilians as a primary instrument of war, you have no moral standing in the world.  Saudi Arabia needs the U.S. but we don't need them.  We are currently an energy exporter who does not need Saudi oil.  There is no reason the U.S. could not begin dictating the sternest possible terms to the Saudis and put a muzzle on the POTUS so he will stop sucking their dicks.  Every time he swallows another load of "bubblin' crude," he erodes our standing as a humane and civilized nation.

Minority Women helped DeSantis win Florida Goverhorship

According to exit polls from CNN about 117, 000 of the 650,000 black women voted for GOP Candiate for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. The reason?
School Choice.
Florida’s Step Up For Students program grants tax-credit scholarships to attend private schools.
( most Step Up students are minorities) Also there are about 650 Charter Schools in the State.
DeSantis is a strong supporter of school choice while the democrat candiate Ron Gillum is not.
If black women had voted republican at the rate of black men(9%) DeSantis would have lost about 60,000 votes. Also encouraging for the Florida GOP are the exit polls for Latinos where 44% cast ballots for DeSantis on the issue of school choice.

Condoleezza Rice has called the issue of School Choice “ the civil rights issue of our time”.
Maybe it is time for the democrats to get on board.

Fuck that. Change the funding system for public schools. Right now schools are funded through property taxes and that favors wealthier suburbs.

“School choice” is a scam to privatize public schools by diverting funding. In essence school choice is a bait and switch for folks who deserve better.

So deplorable? Lib elites are the ones threatening to move. USA still is the best place to live but Dems need to redirect away from lost causes and ineffective leaders(Pelosi-HRC).

---Pelosi is a masterful race-baiter. In September 2017, she compared dreamers to Japanese-American citizens who were forced into temporary internment camps during World War II: “While their family members were fighting for freedom for America and for the world, they were in camps. And they came for them. And now they are coming for the dreamers.”--- Huh!
