Where's your link?  If it's not worth your trouble to post it,  it's not worth mine to hunt for it.

The first paragraph has always been true.

From the very same link:

Nearly two-thirds of Republicans — 64 percent — acknowledged that the world’s climate is changing — a large jump from 49 percent three years ago.

So...no.

So, yes.

The gist.  True.

Democrats oversell it.

Not all.  And not alWAYS. But yes. In ridiculous fashion as political ammo.

No, the gist of what you say is false, and it doesn’t become true because you assign an extremized false position to your opponents.

And the statement that it is Democrats overselling it is total bullshit when the GOP trots out mainstream Republicans like Santorum to say that climate scientists are only in it for the money, and when your “President” and his spokesperson dispute and lie about the findings coming out of their own administration.

It is the mainstream Republican position on this that is ridiculous and out of touch with the views of many of their base.

Still, it was infuriating to see the Obamas graciously engage with the man who spent years vociferously promoting the racist conspiracy theory that the former president is a Muslim who wasn’t born in the United States. Also recall that Donald Trump repeatedly challenged Obama to produce his college-admissions records—because it wasn’t enough for Trump to try to invalidate Obama’s presidency, he had to question Obama’s intellect.

Trump was rewarded with the presidency for his ugliness. And, as president, Trump is often given special credit for behaving like an adult, as he was at the state funeral. The Obamas were also praised for their magnanimity—but the difference is that the Obamas were the aggrieved party, not Trump.

None of this part is false, though I don't agree with the critique of Obama

Just saying in all fairness to the Donald that I  just received a huge lump sum payment from the VA that must have been withheld by previous administrations.

Alternate explanation, that this administration was withholding benefits, and it was congress that forced them to release the funding:

Kid, I found your non-linked column.  It seems to express an extreme caricature of the McCain family.  I read this paragraph with some bemusement:

Quote
The catty, childish snubbing of the president is unforgivable, not because Donald Trump was snubbed, but because the office of the presidency was snubbed. That office represents We the People, and no matter who occupies that office, be it Barack Obama or Trump, when you shit on the president you shit on the people, and that is just how awful the McCain family is.
- John Nolte, in Breitbart News today

The first sentence is a notably unsupported opinion.  I think one could make the argument that, indeed, it was very much Trump himself who was snubbed, and for reasonable cause.  You must contend with the reality that the majority of Americans do not feel that Trump represents We the People, or the office of the President, but rather:  himself and his rich cronies and network of oligarchs.  If the office of President were being generally snubbed, then it's odd that OTHER living Presidents were invited.  If Nolte's premise (first sentence) is false, then the rest of the paragraph is invalidated.

Simply sitting in the Oval Office, watching Fox News and firing off venomous attack tweets does not make you a President.  And no one should be required to invite to their funeral someone who repeatedly identified themselves as an enemy and repeatedly hurled insults and defamation at them.

What kind of white nonsense is this?

By this logic Trump shat on the American people for six years and was rewarded with the presidency.

Breitbart News is, as usual, full of shit.

Meanwhile, the MSM is no less ridiculous....

“President Trump showed the dignity of his office by not pulling out his dick at the funeral...”
