The Tax Foundation threw some cold water on the Progressive/leftists in the democrat party and their desire to raise the marginal tax rate...

5
Well, of course they would, since their whole reason for existing is to argue against tax increases.
Pretty obvious anyone would argue against that tax increase given it would be a disaster for taxpayers.

Have to wonder how it would be a “disaster” for taxpayers if it raises so little revenue....
You are on the right track, don't get derailed.

Oh, right wing heads are exploding across the nation as a nightmare is realized...

Aunty Maxine recognizes talent...

Cant hurt to put Ocasio-Cortez on a Committee where she might actually learn something about financial matters.

As opposed to all those white male congressmen we assume know something about financial matters because they are white and male, despite the fact that they have misstated something as basic as the marginal tax rates since the day AOC made her proposal.
She hasn't made a proposal. Now Nancy has made it impossible for her to make one.

Red doesn’t think that a progressive tax policy will cause economic contraction the way the tax scam he loves is about to.

Red’s slice of the pie isn’t getting any bigger at this point. His productive years are all behind him. A shrinking pie is the only way he can see to get ahead.

He’s scared. Wrong about how things work, but also terribly afraid.

It appears that a "w_terrence" has a particularly worthy and incisive commentary  on something very important to Kiid/Kid.

Thanks, "5."

Trouble seeing the forest for the trees is common.

BANKS - do you think Barr will interfere with Mueller?  Sometimes these guys surprise us by showing their fealty to the rule of law.

--- yours,

Susy Sunshine
Guess you didn't watch his testimony.

Guess you haven't watched this administration.

Or you think that somehow Barr will be different.

snort!

You are too, too funny.

The FBI is a bit of mess

This BEYOND the Mueller probe.

Barr seems like a solid appointee that can clean it up a bit.

More Christie, please.

Yes, please!

Trump has a "revolving door of deeply flawed individuals — amateurs, grifters, weaklings, convicted and unconvicted felons — who were hustled into jobs they were never suited for, sometimes seemingly without so much as a background check via Google or Wikipedia."

Pence says that ISIS has been defeated.

His timing was a bit off. And evidently, we neglected to tell ISIS.

That the FBI investigates the suspicious activity of the politicians you like does not make it a mess.

It was a decade before I figured out the narrative purpose of Mike Yanagita.

Seems timely to consider the effect of Mike's lying to Marge.   Some of us,  our worldview needs to shift to grasp the degree to which we cannot accept what the Jerry Lundegaards are telling us.   Like the people who think Wm Barr is here to clean things up.
