You are connecting dots without proper thought

Trump didnt write the chants, did he?
No, but some very fine people did.

Actually, Blood and Soil dates back to the anti-Semitic 19th Century German Nationalist movement.

"Some very fine people on both sides" means that those who were chanting were the very fine people?

OK, pal.   You rock with that.

For me,  the question that is obvious at this point is:  how is Trump NOT a fascist?  It's hard for me to find any box on the fascism checklist that he hasn't ticked.  Or at least tried to before a handler managed to grab the pen from his hand.  The security clearance thing,  this week, seems like the start of another Stalin-ish trend.  Republicans I used to respect seem to be in a walking coma.

The cowardice of the Republicans is extraordinary and that is the kindest thing that can be said at their rolling over to Il Douche-bag.

"We had a great talk yesterday," Trump said of his meeting with Scott. "I think especially in light of the advent of Antifa, if you look at what's going on there. You have some pretty bad dudes on the other side also, and essentially that's what I said. Now, because of what's happened since then with Antifa — you look at really what's happened since Charlottesville, a lot of people are saying and people have actually written, 'Gee, Trump might have a point.' I said, 'You've got some very bad people on the other side also,' which is true."

I'm perfectly happy to agree that Kid, or Trump for that matter, is not a Nazi.

But willing also to defend his being labeled as such by your compadres.
Where have I defended it? I'm  saying you're the wrong person to criticize others for doing it. You really are stupid.

Reading kid's posts in this forum, I ask myself, does he believe what he posts, or is he just trolling the board for his amusement.

Either way its fucked up, he's either a racist/bigot or someone who isn't bright enough to understand or care about the corrosive and dangerous nature of prejudice on our country.

But I suspect its a little of both, he a racist, not very bright, and lacks the capacity to reason much beyond his immediate needs.

Bankshit joins the echo chamber chorus.

No one makes more personal attacks,"here", than you.

Those are your "immediate needs", to try to make your inadequacy as an individual fade from your conscience.

It won't.

You're still a sniveling coward, something kid is not.

The point was and remains, that it shouldn't be that difficult for the leader of the "free world" to condemn American Nazi's, a voice of hate from  marching in American streets, spouting their hate, but Trump could not do it, but rather had to assign equal blame.

Whenever Trump starts talking about "a lot of people" I immediately know he is making it up. It is invariable.

I am confident that the number of people who participated in the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville who were not white supremacist racist turds is so close to zero as to be zero. If you are marching in a crowd chanting anti-Semitic chants and think of yourself as a very fine person you are wrong.

Let's take a moment to reflect on America's new chief epistemologist:  Rudy Giuliani.

Truth is not truth.

Facts are in the eye of the beholder.

Telling the truth, if you are POTUS, is perjury.

If you are on a campus this coming week and you notice balding chalky-fingered  bespectacled men dropping out of high windows,  those are philosophy professors.

Rudy is doing his best to get us to 1984 in his role as head of the Ministry of Truth

I made my point. You're just trying to save face.

Sad, but you've become quite like another "here".

You are correct

Trump should have transposed some and a lot in that passage

SOME are saying "Trump may have a point"

A LOT of very bad people on the other side (though not everyone - an important distinction not utilized on this forum when attacking Republicans)
