In California the orange growers got together and formed cooperatives such as Sunkist, and they shared marketing expenses, etc, and this enabled the orange growers of California to become very successful.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunkist_Growers,_Incorporated

The growers in Puerto Rico can do the same thing as they build and expand their agriculture industry. And for instance right now, the Chinese are buying avocados, so Puerto Rico can get a bunch of growers to work together as a team to market avocados grown in Puerto Rico to the Chinese, they can form a cooperative like Sunkist.

Puerto Rico can do a lot of great things once they get enthused about it.

Salute,

Tony V.

The House Judiciary Committee is already conducting an Impeachment Inquiry.
So what, exactly, was the purpose of Pelosi’s announcement today to do the same?
How can she get away with merely declaring something “official” without honoring the proper procedure and makeing the House Members declare themselves on the record ?

http://www.msn.com/en-au/news/world/how-dare-you-greta-thunberg-asks-world-leaders-at-un/ar-AAHJhEp?li=AAgfYrC&OCID=AVRES000

A visibly angry Greta Thunberg berated world leaders as she addressed a UN climate summit on Monday, accusing them of betraying her generation by failing to tackle greenhouse gas emissions and asking "How dare you?"

#####

Gotta love these kids...have never struck a blow in the real world of workforces, mortgages, power bills, survival, overpopulation, transport etc, but they're telling adults what to do.

As she said, she shouldn't have to, Bambi.

But since the adults are not heeding the scientists, somebody has to tell them what to do!

Oh the anger.
This is what I mean, worked up into a frenzy...by others I might suggest.
She should be in school learning the three Rs, not at the UN glaring daggers at Presidents.

I'd love to see her answers to what she's accusing Sco-Mo, Trump, and others of not doing to combat 'climate change'.

She has a lot to say, love to see her solutions.

It's like you aren't listening to what she said.

1) She agrees with you. She should be in school. It is society's failure that has her out here.

2) Her solution is "listen to the scientists, you irresponsible politicians." Duh.

There are plenty of scientists who say "man-made climate change" is not real.

Have a look at her, a long and detailed look at her.
Some people might call that child abuse.
Then stop taking long detailed looks at her, you pederastic creep.

Have a look at her face, her body language, her anger, her tears.
There oughta be a law!
It's a wonder people aren't screaming "child abuse" very loudly.

She has the intellect and emotional capacity of anyone I’ve ever seen to make such an impact on society. This ‘child’ is literally changing the present in spite of all the paternalistic misogyny being thrown at her by pervy old bastards like you.

Every kid with half a brain looks into their future and sees a hellscape and you old farts are telling them to sit down and be quiet?

Fuck you.

You are for 'child abuse'?

She's a child.
She's 16...that by law makes her a child.
That's child
Adults have likely convinced her there's no future for her, and facilitated her way to where she is today ...in the 'ring' with Trump etc, ...crying, shaking, angry, 'desperate'.

Pity the 'climate change' brigade wouldn't send adults to the fight instead of children.
You know..."a fair fight".

President Trump is perfectly capable of releasing an "official" transcript that is not accurate.

heh

Denying it?

Miranda Devine: CHARGES SHOULD BE LAID OVER THE ABUSE OF GRETA THUNBERG

It was a tale of two speeches, when the Australian Prime Minister and a teenage Swedish prophet of climate doom came to New York this week.

While terrified Greta Thunberg was having a meltdown at the United Nations over climate change, Scott Morrison was talking about practical environmentalism, such as reducing plastic pollution in the Pacific Ocean, ahead of his own address to the UN.

For the autistic Swedish schoolgirl, the so-called climate crisis has become a personal torment. She has taken literally what irresponsible adults have told her, that the planet is going to die in 11 years unless we stop using the fossil fuels which underpin human progress and have dragged one billion people out of poverty in the past couple of decades.

It was sad watching the diminutive 16-year-old deliver her fierce speech to the UN climate action summit.

Autistic?
That's even worse!

German leader Angela Merkel was one of the many adults who rewarded this hysterical nonsense by seeking poor Greta out for a selfie.

Someone should be arrested for child abuse. It is grotesque that a child, already emotionally vulnerable due to her condition, has been so indoctrinated by adults.

Her belief that the world is going to end in 2030 is not even supported by the UN’s own IPCC report released last year.

But she does believe it with all her heart. She has taken literally the cynical scaremongering of climate activists who deliberately are using children as human shields in their mission to destroy capitalism.

You are such a fool.

No abuse by anybody but the climate deniers, like you and Trump.

You keep accusing adults of this and that, but its all a lie unless you mean by writing reports that she read.

Yes. SHE read the IPCC. Nobody sent her to protest but herself.

Mind you, if there were an accusation of her having been statutorily raped, you would be among the first to claim she consented so no crime was committed, but have her speak about this and she's a child.

Also... the adults have already been in and Congress and the likes of you have refused to believe them - in your case because the fucking radio talk show host told you that 97% of scientists are wrong. So, if it takes a kid, then the kid says "shame on you," she's right - but she is speaking because she has to. They won't listen to anybody else.

p.s. Malala was 16 when she spoke to the U.N. I didn't hear you complaining then. I'm terribly surprised. You are full of bullshit.

P.S. I remember Ms. Devine from the Herald.

She has about as much interest in the well-being of children as you do people of color - it only comes up when it suits your arguments.

Hypocrite.

Hell, the impeachment has been in process since the Mueller hearings. Ukraine May be what breaks the shit show wide open but impeachment has been an inevitability.

Notice the votes are climbing in the House? The way it’s happening is not the usual whipping of votes from leadership it’s the ‘moderate’ Democrats coming over because their constituents are pressuring them on the home front.

Speaker Pelosi is a boss.

“Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail; without it nothing can succeed."

— A. Lincoln

“The ship be sinking...”

—  Micheal Ray Richardson

Same day Pelosi is said to open an impeachment inquiry Trump calls her looking to make a deal, and an hour after her announcement the Administration announces it is preparing to release the whistleblower complaint to Congress.

Pelosi should have done this 6 months ago.

Oh come on. This is how it had to go.

Until the cacophony over impeachment reached fever pitch there was no point going down this road.because 5he GOP doesn’t follow established rules or give a shit about 5he Constitution.
How would you win using the established checks and balances? That shit no longer applies.
Pelosi ain’t just flexing, she’s strapped.

Here we are, where I said we’d be back in May.

https://exjournalistsunite.wordpress.com/2019/05/28/lesson-for-democrats-just-take-your-time-and-get-it-right/

Trump has passed the point of diminishing returns and is now a liability.
