SCO-MO lined em up and let em have it!
So, you're celebrating that your PM believes:
(a) there is climate change,
(b) that man-made elements contribute to it,
and
(c) there are things that can and should be done to respond to it.
It is to laugh.
What he believes, not all of his nation believes.
He's like a deer in the headlights atm, and caught between two lovers....the believers and 'deniers' [including believers who realise the folly of '100%renewables now', and 'coal is evil'.]
Those who elected him to office want what he promised, ...cheaper energy prices, a continual supply of electricity so we're not sitting in the dark with no tv and no aircon, and new dams built.
So far he's done 'nothing'... he'll be for the high jump in 3 years time if he doesn't soon get moving.
Those who did not vote for him...the 'climate change' leftist/Independents lot, want '100% renewables now', 'electric cars now', 'tax self-funded retirees more' etc.
Towns are starting to run out of water, one already has.
Electricity prises since the election have increased, not decreased.
He won the election by 1 or 2 seats.
Maybe in mid summer when the grid fails he'll start listening.
Electricity in the US is 2 1/2 times cheaper than in Australia...that's why Mr Pratt build that cardboard factory Trump and Morrison visited in Ohio.
