On the issue of Anaheim, and California...
Someone went around our neighborhood throwing garbage and old clothing and stuff on our sidewalks. This is a clean neighborhood, and we need to keep it clean.
And it is important for Anaheim to be clean, and to have a good reputation, because of tourism. We need tourism, it is what our whole economy is based on. There is a little manufacturing and other stuff in Anaheim, but for the most part the tourism is our main source of income here. Over 160,000 jobs are created by tourism in Orange County alone.
So, we need to do things to improve the experience for the tourists. We need to be clean, and interesting, and we need to have the best food, and great hotels, etc, etc, etc, and we have Disneyland, etc. We need high speed trains, a high speed train between Anaheim and Vegas, and between Los Angeles and Lancaster, would be good, and there are a lot of other things that we can do too.
And we need to keep it clean. The homeless people have brand new shelters, and there is lots of help available, so we can no longer have homeless encampments on our sidewalks, etc. We have shelters, and Chrysalis, etc. And we are building new apartments, so new homes are being built.
If I see someone throwing trash on our sidewalks then I am going to report them to the police. The cops are there to serve us, and the cops want our area to be nice and clean too. You cannot beat people up, because then it makes you a criminal, the best thing to do is just to report them to the police.
Of note too, the rest of the USA hates Californians. When I was a kid in Oregon I had to fight because I was born in California. A guy recently came from Missouri to California and drove around in a rental car setting fires, they charged him with setting 15 fires. So, if you see people like that, report them to the police.
We need to clean California up, we need to keep California clean, we need to make it great for tourists, and it only takes a second to call the police if you see people throwing garbage on our sidewalks, or whatever.
Salute,
Tony V.
