James Harrison has figured out how to build the mega-wave. Down in South Carolina, he is using his campaign to do some actual people some good. Every Dem everywhere needs to pick this up. Its direct shame to the republican opponent and it locks in unlikely voters, possibly in extended clusters. Any republican pissing and farting will show them more villainous and localize their stink. Lindsey Graham, for all his twisted and despotic advantages, already has his foot in that bear trap. Harrison has raised more than any Democratic candidate in that state in a quarter ever.

The trump slump, republican farm rape and factory tear down is already killing GOP chances. Dottering demented duplicitous directly guilty don isn’t helping his side any andit will turnout so many republicans who are so deeply involved as investigations play out. All open oversight inquiries should remain potential impeachment avenues until all requested documents are produced.

If you’re gonna cook, cook thoroughly. A half century of evidence shows the republican pig is always bad meat.

Today word that we are abandoning the allies that fought with us in Syria in order to allow a Turkish invasion in the region. A move Putin is applauding right now.

The word and reputation of the United States is now complete manure but REDSTATEWARD got his tax cuts.

America’s worst nightmare is to have reliable allies -- like the Kurds who have fought so bravely against ISIS -- abandoned and destroyed.

Sen. Lindsay Graham, ten months ago.

Have yet to hear from him today.

The trio we are now giving up control in the region to:

https://www.dw.com/en/erdogan-putin-rouhani-hold-productive-talks-on-syria/a-50449646

Putin, Erdogan, and Rouhani.

Hey, did I tell you guys how concerned Trump is about corruption?  Really really concerned.  Like, its really important to him.

Some credit to Lindsey, he still has an ounce of moral character.  Just an ounce.  But that is something at least.

You have to wonder though if he allows the thought, at all, that he is complicit in all this.

Probably not.

Well, at least we Americans can be confident that our "president" is doing what is right for the country and is not acting out of political or financial self interest when allowing Turkey to slaughter our allies.

Right?...

I think of conscience, in Graham, as being like longterm memory in an Alzheimer's patient - there are fleeting lucid moments, quickly swallowed up as the fog returns.

Analogy works for Nebraska's senator Sasse, too.   Though his "Chinese commies" protest at Trump's calling on China was so limp that it's clear his sole real focus is 2020 and keeping the suburbs of Omaha.

please - see both sides

Syrian refugees get to return to their nation.  In the end, a tough decision will prove prudent.

Capitalism married with Judeo/Christian ethics is a very, very good thing.

In all of human history, no other system has lifted more people out of poverty and into the ranks of the middle class and beyond.  And no country has done a better job than the United States of America to secure the freedom of its citizens to work hard, prosper and achieve their American Dream.

Excellent piece.  Thank you, Ms Duffy

While the premise that there is no difference between the Communist system in China and the Social Democracy of Denmark is self-evidently false and thus this entire thing falls apart completely, I do appreciate her strident descriptions of the threat that China poses to Freedom and Democracy in general.

So what does she think of our “president” calling on China to “investigate” his American political opponents?

Please explain how allowing Turkey to slaughter our allies in the fight against ISIS in Syria will allow Syrian Refugees to return to their nation.

Thanks.

Turkey's aim is not "to slaughter our allies".

Oh no?  So when Turkey’s forces attack them from positions now left defenseless by Trump’s maneuver, what will happen?   They will be tickled into submission?  Please let us know, since you have such intimate knowledge of Erdogan’s intentions.

One thing that will also happen, while the SDF will be fighting for their lives they will no longer guard the 10,000 ISIS fighters they were holding for us, 2,000 of them foreign nationals.

Wonder what will happen to those folks?
