CONSIDERING the President's words is the least you can do as a citizen.  Disagreeing with the entire package is not a good look for anyone looking to be taken seriously.

I read the President's statements, and commented on their self-evident absurdity.  Read what staunch Trump ally Lindsay Graham had to say about them.  Maybe you don't think he should be taken seriously either.

When Trump lies I show you why.  Automatically agreeing with the biggest liar to ever be "president" when not even his best friends think he is right is definitely no way to be taken seriously.  But no worries.  For you that boat sailed a long time ago.

I support most of what Trump has in mind for this nation.  Lets get that straight.

You support a dangerously unqualified and unintelligent man without morals who actively weakens our Democracy and whose corruption and self-dealing are unparalleled in the history of the office because you like his racism.

Lets get that straight.

And your pose that you would consider voting for any other candidate if they are "someone of worth" is just another transparent routine.

RIP Elijah Cummings

I thought him a dedicated powerful and compassionate voice for decency, and what was right.

He was a leader who will be missed.

Of course it helps to know some of the backstory on the Kurds in Turkey....

Excellent post, covering Erdogan's despotic schemes toward Kurds.   Kurds are "terrorists" in the way that people are terrorists when they have a jackboot pressed on their face and attempt to dislodge themselves.  People should also see the complete text of the October 9 letter from Trump - the growing dementia is plain to see....

I wasn't noting what you posted, but the fact that you take his ignorant ravings and lies as gospel.

CONSIDERING the President's words is the least you can do as a citizen.  Disagreeing with the entire package is not a good look for anyone looking to be taken seriously.  But maybe you just do so here - in the PACK.  And have more cerebral down the middle conversation elsewhere.

We considered them, Kid.

We considered them against the facts and repeatedly have found his words to be either lies or confused the vast bulk of the time.

You have yet to admit that the president lies frequently and often with no apparent reason or purpose to it. Disagreeing with an entire package is called for when the package is corrupt and contributes to efforts to wipe out a people.

Turkey Reportedly Advances on Kobani, City Erdogan Promised Trump He Will Not Attack
U.S. military aircraft carried out a 'show of force' over the border city of Kobani after Turkish-backed fighters came close to American troops based there, a U.S. official said Tuesday

Haaretz and Reuters Oct 16, 2019 3:38 PM

Quote
"Mr Trump's remark on Kobani was 'Don't strike there'," Erdogan told reporters late on Tuesday. "We said that we had only done an encircling operation there at the moment."

"We are not really interested with inside Kobani right now. But we said 'If there is a different development, we may intervene'," Erdogan said. However reports on Wednesday indicated that Turkish forces were advancing on the city.

Foreign Policy's Lara Segilman tweeted, "Senior US official confirms what Kurdish sources have been telling me - that Turkey is advancing on the border town of Kobani, which Erdogan promised Trump he would not attack."
...
Speaking to reporters on a flight returning from Azerbaijan, Erdogan said: “They say ‘declare a cease-fire’. We will never declare a cease-fire…They are pressuring us to stop the operation. They are announcing sanctions. Our goal is clear. We are not worried about any sanctions.”

Doesn't sound like Erdogan thinks he promised anything.

And it doesn't sound like sanctions  are going to sway him, any more than his being told by President Fool not to be a fool did.

Have to shake your head at the stupidity of releasing that letter after it was already clear that Erdogan ignored it (reportedly, crumpled it up and threw it in the trash.)

Donald Trump is so afraid of looking weak, but his idea of strength has all the maturity and nuance of a 5th grade schoolyard bully.  When it actually comes to the strategy and smart maneuvering that leads to using what strength and leverage he has to greatest effect, he gets it wrong.  Every. Single. Time.

We just read about the Trump real  estate lies for taxes vs. loans.

Now, the stock market manipulation is being presented for our consideration:
