Josh

I think HAMILTON has had enough of a banning that he should be let back on the forum

Please consider, with certain boundaries

Thanks
Fuck that asshole.
If that asshole respected boundaries he never would have been kicked out. Fuck him.

Come on, man - be an adult.

Says the same guy who just posted "Yeah, baby!  Let's go!!!" in response to an Ambassador's saying his boss directed him to set up a quid pro quo and also told him to claim that that same boss dictated a 'no quid pro quo' comment to another of our diplomats when that one complained about it.

Also, Kid? what part of that comment are you disagreeing with? That Hamilton didn't respect boundaries?! That I wouldn't have kicked him out otherwise? Or that he was (and likely remains) an asshole?!

Or is your objection to his saying it plainly like that?!

I wasn't noting what you posted, but the fact that you take his ignorant ravings and lies as gospel.

CONSIDERING the President's words is the least you can do as a citizen.  Disagreeing with the entire package is not a good look for anyone looking to be taken seriously.  But maybe you just do so here - in the PACK.  And have more cerebral down the middle conversation elsewhere.

We considered them, Kid.

We considered them against the facts and repeatedly have found his words to be either lies or confused the vast bulk of the time.

You have yet to admit that the president lies frequently and often with no apparent reason or purpose to it. Disagreeing with an entire package is called for when the package is corrupt and contributes to efforts to wipe out a people.

Wasnt addressing you

Maybe you saw "pack" and were misled.

I'm addressing you. And note, I was including the person(s) you apparently meant to be addressing in a secretly private message. I am confident that that person or those persons agree with what I wrote. I suppose, if it makes you feel better, one of them can come along and say the same thing to you.

But if you don't want others to reply to your posts, don't post publicly. Or, at the barest minimum, don't rely on pronouns.

It's the anti-Trump cheerfest here that is juvenile.

It's the lack of even open-minded consideration of Trump's corruption that is shallow and stupid.

It's the fact that you think we are cheering because we post facts rather than blindly repeating the President's (comparatively lucid) remarks as if they were anything but space fillers.

It's the notion that you think the President had a plan when he pulled out of Syria and cannot or will not admit when you are wrong about things like the rush of it - sandwiches, indeed.

It was your prior insistence that there was no evidence that Trump lies, which you have finally stopped, but not bothered to mention that even you now know that he is a serial liar.

And you think we are juvenile?

Turkey to suspend Syria offensive

Turkey confirms suspension of Syria offensive
Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkey's foreign minister, confirmed that Ankara agreed to temporarily halt its offensive in northeast Syria to allow Kurdish fighters to withdraw from the region.

"The US side has accepted the necessity of a safe zone to protect Turkey's security interests. And we have reached a full agreement for the Turkish army to control this zone," he told a news conference in Ankara.

"This is not a ceasefire, a ceasefire can only be made only between two legitimate sides," he said, adding that withdrawing Kurdish fighters will return their heavy weapons and destroy their fortifications.

This is unilateral disarmament of the Kurds which will leave them vulnerable to Turkey's likely claiming that they were provoked and renewing their offensive.

Nope, no conflict of interest here! No profit-making by doing the government's business at his own facilities.

kiidcarter8 would rather talk about this corruption than the fact that Mulvaney just confirmed Quid Pro Quo on the Ukraine aid.

So how do the "There was collusion but no quid pro quo" people defend the "president" now?  I eagerly await the next round of excuses.

https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/impeachment-inquiry-10-17-2019/index.html

The story that N.A. just referenced, in which Mick Mulvaney said that Ukraine aid was tied to Trump's desire for investigation.

Quote
When asked about the decision to withhold aid from Ukraine, Mulvaney told reporters that President Trump told him at the time, "This is a corrupt place. Everyone knows this is a corrupt place…Plus, I'm not sure that the other European countries are helping them out either.”

Mulvaney also added, “Did he also mention me in the past that the corruption related to the DNC server? Absolutely. No question about that."

When questioned on Mulvaney saying that the White House held up security money from Ukraine until the president got assurances, Mulvaney told reporters to “get over it” saying there are going to be political impacts on foreign policy.

"The corruption of the country, whether or not other countries participating in support of Ukraine, and whether or not cooperating in an ongoing investigation with the department of justice. That is completely legitimate, yes"
A reporter then questioned Mulvaney on his explanation saying it sounds like a quid-pro-quo to which Mulvaney said: “We do that all the time with foreign policy.”

Just unreal.  Pence agrees to give Turkey all the territory they wanted in a deal that would also require the Kurds to unilaterally disarm, and he has the nerve to crow about negotiating a "ceasefire."

Is it that these guys are just newbs, or do they think Americans are too dumb to follow what is going on?

“We do that all the time with foreign policy.”

Trump Admin argument that gives away the game.  "We do it all the time and out in the open, so it can't be corrupt or illegal."

https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/17/politics/read-eu-ambassador-trump-congress-testimony/index.html

Sondland's prepared testiomony:
Quote
Indeed, Secretary Perry, Ambassador Volker, and I were disappointed by our May 23, 2019 White House debriefing. We strongly believed that a call and White House meeting between Presidents Trump and Zelensky was important and that these should be scheduled promptly and without any pre-conditions. We were also disappointed by the President's direction that we involve Mr. Giuliani. Our view was that the men and women of the State Department, not the President's personal lawyer, should take responsibility for all aspects of U.S. foreign policy towards Ukraine. However, based on the President's direction, we were faced with a choice: We could abandon the goal of a White House meeting for President Zelensky, which we all believed was crucial to strengthening U.S.-Ukrainian ties and furthering long-held U.S. foreign policy goals in the region; or we could do as President Trump directed and talk to Mr. Giuliani to address the President's concerns.

We chose the latter path, which seemed to all of us -- Secretary Perry, Ambassador Volker, and myself -- to be the better alternative. But I did not understand, until much later, that Mr. Giuliani's agenda might have also included an effort to prompt the Ukrainians to investigate Vice President Biden or his son or to involve Ukrainians, directly or indirectly, in the President's 2020 reelection campaign.
...
As I stated earlier, I understood from President Trump, at the May 23, 2019 White House debriefing, that he wanted the Inaugural Delegation to talk with Mr. Giuliani concerning our efforts to arrange a White House meeting for President Zelensky. Taking direction from the President, as I must, I spoke with Mr. Giuliani for that limited purpose. In these short conversations, Mr. Giuliani emphasized that the President wanted a public statement from President Zelensky committing Ukraine to look into anticorruption issues. Mr. Giuliani specifically mentioned the 2016 election (including the DNC server) and Burisma as two anticorruption investigatory topics of importance for the President.

GUNS ARE GREAT!for shooting dead armed home invaders.

The bigger the guns the better!
Pity Aussie guy hadn't been armed with a machine gun, finger on the trigger, ready to shoot.

Australian man shot dead in Texas during home invasion

Family and friends of an Australian father-of-two are in mourning after he was shot dead when intruders broke into his house in Texas.
His American wife Angeleanna and their two children, aged one and three, were in the house at the time he was killed.

Police are still searching for the intruders.
They are chasing leads that a car was seen speeding away from Estorffe's home after the shooting.

#####

Every man and woman in America should go out and buy a machine gun and handgun today, learn how to use them, and always have them ready to fire at a moment's notice.
