The conspiracy charges make you wonder who is crazier HRC or the Donald. Must be a better way to choose a candidate. He says witch hunt she goes the Manchurean route. Both of them deserve a rubber room?

The rubber room is reserved for anyone who finds Hillary and donald remotely equivalent.

They offer lobotomies as well, but you seem to have had several already.

For my way of thinking, I don't even have Trump hosting the G7 at one of his resorts in the Top 100 Outrageous Things he's done as President.

Which really tells you something.  If Obama owned stocks in a contractor that he forced the government to hire to rebuild roads that would have ended his Presidency.

For Trump thats a Tuesday.

Needs further analysis

Trump's people gave it further analysis.

No G7 at a Trump property in 2020!

This kind of stuff, while rare, is not quite as rare as you might think. (Let me know if you want to be connected with more such stories.)

I was actually giving our rightward leaning comrades have something to snack on. I was thinking how one day this little brother may get pulled over because the bulb over his license plate is out or and He better do everything exactly right ..

I got a kick out his little brother wanting to become an astrophysicist at my alma mater, Hampton U.

Quote
acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney defiantly addressed the concern that hosting the G7 there already creates profit by highlighting the resort, asking reporters to "consider the possibility that Donald Trump's brand is already strong enough on its own."

A number of problems with that lame defense.

1) McDonald's is hugely known, yet they still advertise on TV.  Brand awareness is one thing -- everyone in the US knows Spam -- but keeping a positive modern image is another.

2) This is a major international summit, which gets reported all over the world.  Chinese for instance had never heard of Trump until he started winning the GOP nomination.  So this would up the Trump brand in countries where he might want to brand an office tower -- Philippines or Saudi Arabia or kenya or whaerever -- after he's out of office.

3) The Trump brand is well-known, and probably Mar-a-lago where Trump goes as Prez, but not all of his properties are that well-known.  This would be a boost for Doral Golf Club more than the Trump brand in general, while helping both.  Certainly good advertising in the G7 countries and beyond.

Otherwise, I find it interesting that Trump would never consider holding the G7 at Doral and not charging the US or foreign gov'ts at all.  Do it gratis.  You're a billionaire.  The club is there, most of the operating costs are baked in.  You'd lose other business for two weeks, but could make that up with the publicity and potential extra future business.

Otherotherwise, anyone remember when folks used to say that you should vote for a billionaire because he doesn't need the money and won't be corrupt.  I think they forgot to factor in the lifetime of greed and enormous ego.

We’ve never elected a billionaire. Legally trump still has a negative net worth.

Putin let’s trump put his name on the Russian mob’s most distressed properties to give him some credibility as a propaganda mouthpiece. Regan’s destruction of our education system has created rubes like Kiid and Red who can’t help lapping up that bullshit.

Another clear sign of his insanity is how he pretends he made money during his “business” career.

We’ve never elected a billionaire. Legally trump still has a negative net worth.

It's the old: If you owe a bank $25,000 that's your problem, if you owe the bank $250M that's the bank's problem.

Whatever Trump's net worth, he playing in a league with lots of 0's.

But yeah, maybe a Bill Gates or some other ultra-rich person who has started giving money away because they have so much is more the type that might not be greedy and corrupt.  Much more so than a super-rich type who is always one step away form another bankruptcy.
