Just making sure I understand...Trump has a 13 year old son and he did NOT take him to a baseball game.

Huh.

I’m glad he didn’t.

Kid has enough trauma in his life.

The kid already know what a creepy crooked putz his idiot father is. His mother keeps reminding him in Slovenian whenever all three are together.

It doesn’t take a stadium of baseball fans to convince his immediate family that trump should be locked up.

Was good to see public disapproval of Trump and public calls for his impeachment.  I think leftward folks should organize impeachment rallies in various cities.  Where folks get on stage and read out the  potential charges, relevant Constitutional passages, various other Trump corruption and corruption of those in and who have cycled through the Admin.  Civics lessons are good.
Trump Admin has been historically corrupt.

And not just Ukraine, but also Russia.  And the way Trump denigrated the intelligence agencies he now praises.   Or how he lied about not having any business in Russia while he was negotiating a huge deal in Moscow during the campaign.  Etc.

If Bart's point wasn't already clear enough, Don Jr. somehow managed to underscore, in an angry tweet, why his father's decision was a reflection of his cowardice and his vanity:  Dad knew that he was going to get booed.  Trump claims to be a family man.  Yeah, he's a family man, the way Susan Smith was a family woman.

Quote
...So instead of agreeing to an alliance with Britain, Stalin signed a nonaggression pact with Hitler that divided Eastern Europe into German and Soviet spheres of influence and cleared the way for Hitler to attack Poland. On Sept. 1, 1939, less than a year after Chamberlain had signed the Munich agreement, Hitler’s armies marched into Poland, and the dream of “peace for our time” lay shattered in the ruins of the Second World War.

Chamberlain’s lack of diplomatic experience and determination to fashion his own foreign policy was his downfall. He often refused to listen to his top foreign policy advisers — as evidenced by the resignation of British Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden over Chamberlain’s headlong pursuit of the appeasement of Italian dictator Benito Mussolini six months before the Munich agreements were signed.

Taking the word of dictators such as Mussolini and Hitler at face value was a fatal flaw that was compounded by Chamberlain’s hubris. He vastly underappreciated the potentially devastating consequences of his actions and undersold them to the public. In a radio address amid the Sudeten crisis, Chamberlain justified his determination to appease Hitler by asking the British people why they should become involved in “a quarrel in a faraway country between peoples of whom we know nothing.”

Has the Washington Post opened a GoFundMe site to honor the memory of
the recently departed “ austere religious scholar “?

On the issue of clean and safe water here in the USA, there is no reason for our water not to be safe, the USA needs to make an investment to make sure that every American has safe drinking water.

I saw a video on the web of a lady from a Native American Indian reservation in Nevada, and she said that her tribe could not drink the water, because the mining companies polluted the water. Certainly we have people here in the USA who are smart enough to filter water and to make the water safe for people to drink. We can get the people from NASA and other smart people, from MIT, etc, and the smart people can figure out how to provide safe drinking water for all Americans.

The water can also be made safe for people in Michigan, and in other parts of the USA.

Instead of wasting money on walls, we need to make sure that all Americans have clean and safe water to drink. Our people are smart enough to make clean water happen, we just need to provide the resources to make it happen.

Salute,

Tony V.
