Sure, those with access to classified info are required to not disclose it upon leaving.  But they have no idea what is in the book at this point.

Thus "publication of the book mayviolate...."

Mr Trump...duly elected President of the United States by the American People...under exactly the same system as they elected Mr Obama.

Nah

Cheated - haven't you heard?

Obama's people did nothing politically crafty at all during his 2 election cycles.  Just smiled and won.

Collusion with a hostile foreign power to deceive American voters is just the type of political craftiness everyone does and is therefore ok, even though I can't show that anyone has ever done anything remotely like it.

- kiidcarter8

No collusion, just folks YELLING collusion

Dems have done far worse, historically - but that matters not at this time.

No collusion...can't help you after all this time you haven't bothered to find out what Mueller's report actually said.

As for Dems doing "far worse" yeah, if you are going to make that accusation, it matters.  So tell us what and when.

Exactly.  So why is the DOJ getting involved now, with zero predicate that a crime has been committed?

Fox News confirmed that Justice Department officials asked for details on the anonymous author in a letter to the publisher on Monday, which also indicated that the secretive author could be subject to nondisclosure agreements.

Asked for details.  And reminded them of the law.

Publisher declined to give the details (identity), as was its right.  And gave a vague comment concerning nondisclosure.

All good.  Like I said - DRAMA

Uh. No Collusion.
So the dems moved on to plan O for Obstruction.
That failed.
Now it is Plan I for Impeachment but they can’t agree on what is impeachable.
Personally I think they should have settled  on “Plan 9 From Outer Space.”
At least that is an enduring cult classic.

yes, totally normal DOJ business to try to intimidate authors of tell-all books when they have no indication that they have broken the law.

Mueller found collusion.  Just not to the level of criminal conspiracy.  In part because Trump's people kept lying, for some reason.  Solid ground there, REDSTATEWARD.

Democrats didn't move to Obstruction.  Mueller did, because there was evidence of obstruction. but did not charge on the grounds that a sitting President can't be charged.

Now it is Plan I for Impeachment but they can’t agree on what is impeachable.

Its crystal fucking clear what is impeachable, REDSTATEWARD.  If you are confused, pay close attention to the public hearings.  Then you can lie to us again and say you still don't see anything wrong with what Trump did.

Comical to call it a Trump peace.
To recap:
Trump pulled the US out, resulting in a Turkish invasion of a sovereign country with the goal of ethnic cleansing, forcing the Kurds to flee, bringing Russia and Syria into the region for the first time in years.  Some Kurds killed and lots of refugees uprooted by this military dislocation.

Then Putin and Erdogan reached a truce agreement with both sides occupying Syrian territory near the border, after Trump washed his hands of the matter.  The US withdrawal was so erratic, Trump didn't have a plan where the withdrawn US troops would go or whether any were still needed in Syria.  And Kurds were killed and harassed in the process, instead of some kind of negotiated pullback from the get go.

Trump created a mess, abandoned an ally, aided war crimes, and left it to others to patch things up = Trump Peace!

Goes to show what Turkey is all about.
Turkey should be the one attracting the ire of the world.

Kurds should be all moved back to Kurdistan, where they can be protected from Turkey.
Let Syria-Russia fight Turkey over Syria.
Putin wouldn't be so stooped as to not protect the Christians in Syria, seeing as how Russia is basically a 'Christian' country.

US troops out of Syria, and home for Christmas,...that's good.
They can now be used to seal the US-Mexico border.

US should never have been in Syria in the first place, backing the 'Muslim rebels' against the protector of the Christians Assad.

The butcher Assad.

Whenever a person, or group of persons, starts to believe they know all the answers to how to fix the world and everyone's lives, they tend to become deaf, blind, and rigidly invincibly stupid.

Bambi was there already.

I've long thought his tax returns will show nothing of much interest other than he's probably given nothing to charity.  His "brilliance" as a businessman, his net worth and even fraudulent activity is not likely going to be demonstrated in a tax return.  Why not release them? As long as we're talking about tax returns, we might not be talking about other things.

I suspect they will show even more fraud than his real estate taxes did, opening him up to legal action in more states,

There is a permanent Trump-negotiated ceasefire in Syria...Turkey hasn't invaded any further?

Turkey and Syria have been fighting for at least the last 4 days, Bambi. Do try to keep up.

Then it's time to get out the big stick and hit Turkey with it.
Turkey invaded Syria...UN should fire a large missile into Turkey and wipe out Erdogan's palace, for starters.
UN should slap Turkey with drastic sanctions on everything....food, water, weapons, all trade to cease...then the Turkish people will take care of Erdogan when they're eating grass like the people in NK.

Spoken like a dolt with no idea how the UN works.

And doesn't work.

Yet she manages to stay on Twitter and pour her runoff into Kiid.

I like her...she's my kind of gal.

That makes sense, Bambi!
