And another one, and another one, and another one bites the dust!

I will not miss Peter King's voice.

16 GOP and 5 Dem House members have announced they will not be up for reelection.

Very different reception for the president at the LSU-Alabama game than at either the World Series or the UFC event (Kid's objections notwithstanding).

Though I understand some Alabama supporters changed their minds as a result of the game's outcome!

https://www.vox.com/2019/11/9/20956900/house-republicans-impeachment-inquiry-witness-hunter-biden-whistleblower-dnc
and
https://republicans-intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/rm_letter_to_chm_re_witness_request.pdf

Devon Archer, Burisma BoD member and Hunter Biden business partner
Hunter Biden
Alexandra Chalupa, former Democratic National Committee contractor - part of the conspiracy theory about the Clinton server
Nellie Ohr, former contractor for research firm Fusion GPS - because of the false equating of Clinton's hiring of Fusion to Trump's bribery efforts
Tim Morrison, former top White House aide for Europe and Russia policy - already heard in private, the GOP wants this Vindman boss heard on the same panel as Vindman, not each by themselves, in the hope that Morrison will manage to undo Vindman's testimony.
-------> based on what I know of what Morrison said to the Committees, I think they are foolish to want him, but I think he will be called.
David Hale, Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs - for his knowledge on the removal of Yovanovich, about which he testified in private. I don't see how he helps the GOP's cause.
Kurt Volker, former US special representative to Ukraine - another who testified in private and whom I would be surprised to have exclused from the public testimony.

and of course they want the whistleblower, for all that they claim it was all r2nd hand and it has all be corroborated by first hand accounts.

There is no good reason to force him to testify.

Thoughts?

I am opposed - I think it turrns the proceedings into exactly the kind of circus the GOP claims it is already (and that they (not-so-) secretly want it to be).

Can't sue NY in federal court to stop an action nobody has tried to take.

Can try suing in the NY courts or can wait until the House seeks the records from NY and then sue in the federal court, though no promises either way.

Trump-appointee.

Sounds like trump was nearly smart enough to stick to prepared remarks. The secret service is still not letting him play with guns.

The link to the tweet you posted doesn’t seem to work though. What was it?

Why not try a search to find something else?

And this is part of why I want you folks to post the message, not just the link, to tweets! They disappear far more often than actual news article and opinion columns do.

fockkkkk

uuuuuuuuu....

Sounds like the speech was pretty standard fare for such speeches rather than for this president, even if some of what he said was nonsensical, like the bit about its being appropriate that this parade start in New York City.

And having their glory ever increase is pretty much not what the bulk of vets are thinking or hoping for, but I can see why Trump would think it would be.

But poor widdle Kid had his feelings hurt by the spot on observations abou having this draft dodger speaking of the sacrifice of our military men and women, especially given the huge sacrifices that his family have made, as his offspring spelled out tother day.

After his speech, cadet bone spurs, the coward princeling, retreated into Putin’s tower, where he is rumored to keep an apartment.
