Red’s village voted the Earth was flat. Nothing bogus about that, the Earth being flat. As if one could go round without falling off, imagine that!

The Party of Stupid (and of misunderstanding what religion is about, too) strikes again.

https://local12.com/news/local/ohio-house-passes-bill-allowing-student-answers-to-be-scientifically-wrong-due-to-religion?fbclid=IwAR1-tm0-123OhR_e0zIo-eI59tT_x0aqZZWdimhhsQSLQwj9gBemYBdrcAY

Every member of the GOP in the Ohio House supported this bizarre and absurd bill. The Senate is controlled by the GOP. I fear for their children's future.
Why?

To permit giving bogus answers in order to allow people to give answers that are acceptable to the religious leaders - "religious freedom" is the excuse. It is modeled on a law from Mississippi in 2013 and that one is stupid, too.
Bogus answers?

Is the Earth flat? Yes. (Okay, under this law.)
Did dinosaurs coexist with humans? Yes. (Okay, under this law.)

Are you  really that dense?

Kushner might have an accessory to murder charge laid on him at some point in his future.

Dirty boys making a mess of things.

It must go back to that Trump-Barr-Epstein connection. Comedic law of threes is as universal as gravity.

Remember how bad that tarmac meeting was?  Yeah, that was a doozy. Whew. Drain the swamp!

More on Gym Jordan, the cover-up artist. No wrongdoing too big for him to look the other way when convenient to his party and himself:

1. We now know for a virtual certainty that Moscow has Kompromat on the US "president."

2. Russia is now literally occupying US bases in Syria:

https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2019/11/15/russia-lands-forces-at-former-us-air-base-in-northern-syria-a68191

Is there a connection here?  The mere fact that it is possible should be enough.

Trump Administration releases reconstructed call transcript in a weak attempt to clear Trump, still can't avoid implicating themselves:

This seems notable. There's no mention of combatting corruption in the first transcript of Trump's call with Zelensky, despite the White House telling reporters in an April readout that rooting out corruption was discussed. I've asked the White House to explain the discrepancy.

Ruh Roh

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/house-ethics-committee-announces-probe-into-dem-reps-tlaib-hastings

Talib's lawyers said in August there was no evidence that she violated the law on purpose or otherwise, and insisted there were no bad intentions. They noted that Federal Election Commission (FEC) regulations permit campaigns to "pay limited salary to candidates who curtail outside employment to focus on their campaigns" in certain limited conditions that, the lawyers said, were met in this instance.

Tlaib was trying to keep up with rent, childcare, car maintenance.   Yep, this is hardcore corruption.   I just hope the Ethics Committee is vigorously pursuing all the white Christians who have also made use of this FEC regulation.   I mean, I'm sure they will get right on that, right?
