I'm not sure "we're raising more money" is really a boast when your guy is an incumbent billionaire supported by a wealthy donor class.  That's more a statement of what is wrong with democracy in this country.  And, as BoDiddley pointed out, the comparison is flawed, given where each party is concentrating money at the moment. 

We could talk about what's important, like the issues and policy positions of the candidates, but that would require understanding how governments work instead of just shouting "scoreboard" all the time.

Republicans are supported by those who see investing millions into the government as an easy call when the return is billions in tax cuts.

And I have no doubt that the result will be Republicans being able to outspend Democrats in 2020.
