David Pecker, the head of the company that publishes the National Enquirer, has spoken with prosecutors with the New York district attorney's office as part of its investigation into the Trump Organization's handling of hush money payments to women who alleged affairs with President Donald Trump, sources with knowledge of the meeting tell CNN.

The America Media Inc. chairman's late October meeting with prosecutors from the major economic crimes bureau could provide key details on discussions that took place involving Stormy Daniels, the adult film star who allegedly had an affair with Trump, and agreements that were made with former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, the sources said.

Cohen is cooperating with the investigation. Pecker is expected to continue talking with prosecutors, sources said.

We’ve read about the 79-year-old great grandmother who scared a would-be thief into a closet after shooting at him; the Philly great-grandmother who chased her burglar, bloodied by her bullets, out of her home; and the Georgia grandmother who fought off two armed attackers who tried to tie her up, which she categorized as a “grannies gone wild” feat.

Fists etc are often not enough, the Aussie guy in Texas shot dead in his own home by invaders proved that.

You guys, Trump is just so so concerned about corruption.  Really really concerned:

At the request of Turkish President Erdogan, Trump ordered the Treasury and Justice Dept. to examine the impact of sanctions against a state-owned Turkish bank accused of fraud and money laundering.

Restricting private gun ownership to grannies who can shoot straight is a capitol idea.

Trump is sabotaging the economy for short term personal political gain.

We’re all paying for Red’s “tax cut”.

How Democrats can win, everywhere

By Andy Beshear and John Bel Edwards
November 25, 2019 at 10:49 a.m. MST
Andy Beshear (D) is the governor-elect of Kentucky. John Bel Edwards (D) is the governor of Louisiana.

Many Democrats viewed the result of the 2016 presidential election as a sign that we should abandon whole sections of the country as unwinnable.

But having just won statewide in Kentucky and Louisiana, the two of us believe our party should move in the opposite direction. If Democrats choose to run and govern on a grounded set of issues that draw a clear line between our platform and a voter’s kitchen table, we can win even in the reddest of the red states.

The secret sauce is not really a secret. To win, we had to reach out to people across the political spectrum, including people who voted for President Trump. So we campaigned everywhere, treating every voter with respect, as winnable, because showing up still matters to the people we wanted to lead....

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/11/25/how-democrats-can-beat-trump-everywhere/

Right now, these two really bring a lot of credibility to any chat about how Dems can win.

Meanwhile, the reality is that Trump is doing real actual damage to every level of our military, its operation and morale, from the top down.

He's really not.

I love your carefully reasoned explanations.

Or I would if you ever had any.

So which level do you think he is not harming?

Trump signs the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Coin Act then declares that people have been trying to get it done for years but it’s happening now only because he is a “president” who gets things done.

The man is an absolute moron. Truly a tremendous idiot.

The political risks of impeachment were well documented before this effort started. Which is why Democrats were so reluctant to do it, even when there was already cause.

When there was incontrovertible proof of the “president” committing impeachable offenses those concerns went to the side in order to protect the functioning of our democracy.

I can understand that for a Trumpist like yourself doing ones duty with no personal or political benefit is a foreign concept.

Trump weakens our military but he is doing wonders for the strength and influence of his strong-man buddies:

Funny how many of them are either paying I to the Trump Corporation or working to get him elected in 2020.
