Just think, if it hadn’t been for liberals Clarence Thomas might have amounted to something.

Like I said - you don't like her, but you cannot contradict what she said.

Dont be absurd

Like her?  Til this hit piece I didnt know her.  It's not personal.  Anti-Trumping, anti-Trump appointments clearly is.

It is both personal and political and practical.

The man was not qualified for the job he is now filling, which is why he could not be approved for it.

You still have nothing to counter that.

My objection and hers to his being in that position is personal: he is personally not qualified. He is politically not qualified. And he is professionally not qualified.

Trump? Trump is cheating to have his unvetted acting directors in an illegal way, with Moscow Mitch's cooperation.

Why don't the Dems come out with a farm plan that benefits family farmers and small farm businesses and cuts off agribusiness from gov't subsidies?

Come out with policies that benefit farmers and help rural areas.
Trump has certainly provided an opening.
And stop helping Big Agribusiness which supports the GOP.
Divide and conquer.  Get the little people on your side.
Companies donate cash but don't vote.
Weaken the corporations, strengthen the farmers.

Like magic, the Dems fundraising deficit has largely disappeared.

Quote
Democrats are narrowing President Donald Trump’s early spending advantage, with two billionaire White House hopefuls joining established party groups to target the president in key battleground states that are likely to determine the outcome of next year’s election.

Priorities USA and American Bridge, two of the leading Democratic outside groups, are ramping up operations. The organization ACRONYM recently pledged to spend $75 million. And former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has pledged to spend $100 million on ads targeting Trump, while California billionaire Tom Steyer promised $50 million.

This could very well be an election in which Trump and the RNC act as a somewhat traditional money funnel, while the Dems rely on various PACs, outside groups and assorted billionaires.
Can't say this is a good development, but you play by the rules and counter your opponent as best you can.

Amazing what an extra $300M will do.

And realistically, who knows if Bloomberg will really drop $100M or anything close to it, especially if he fails to excite anyone.
Though initially he pledged to spend that to stop Trump, rather than prop up himself.

He spent $34 million (at least) last week on ads. He also responded to AOC, who observed that his money would be more useful being spent elsewhere than a late presidential run.

"To blunt that criticism, Bloomberg committed this past week to spending $100 million in digital ads aimed just at Trump and another $15 to $20 million to register half a million voters."

I don't think he's done spending on items other than his own campaign, by a long shot.

Trumpettes: The impeachment process is unfair! The House did not vote to authorize the impeachment process!

Democrats hold House vote to authorize the impeachment process.

Trumpettes: The impeachment process is unfair! The investigation depositions were conducted in secret!

Democrats: Staff counsel and all Republican members of the relevant committees had the full opportunity to attend and question witnesses.

Trumpettes: The impeachment process is unfair! All we know of the testimony comes from leaks!

Democrats release complete transcripts.

Trumpettes: The impeachment process is unfair! There need to be public hearings! Republicans have the right to present their case!

The Democrats hold public hearings. Republicans have the same rights to question witnesses as Democrats.

Trumpettes: The impeachment process is unfair! Trump should be allowed to participate!

Democrats provide Trump the opportunity to participate.  Trump declines.

At this point, Republicans have moved the goal posts so far they are outside the stadium, across the practice field and in Row QQ in the Remote Auxillary Parking Lot.

Another witch hunt brought to a conclusion thanks in part to reality’s long standing and well documented liberal bias.

This witch is copping a plea.

It's fortunate for them their base has depth perception problems.   The goalposts haven't moved, they've just shrunk a lot.

The master of witchhunts, because he does so many of them himself. Lisa Page did nothing to deserve this.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/02/politics/mueller-fbi-investigation-documents/index.html

Trump's lawyer told Michael Cohen to withhold information from Congress. That's witness tampering. If it was requested by the president, which it seems likely to have been, that is an impeachable offense.

Also:
Quote
Investigators quizzed Kelly about Trump's efforts to fire Mueller in June 2017, and his efforts to contain the fallout when The New York Times revealed the unsuccessful attempt in a January 2018 article. The Mueller report determined that there was substantial evidence that both of these episodes constituted obstruction of justice, though Trump could not be charged due to Justice Department policy

Yes, there was obstruction of justice by the president. Yes, that is an impeachable offense.

Those instances are impeachable by any rational, law-abiding person's standards - the second set demonstrably so, the first only nearly certain.

As the piece says, "more to come."

Nobody connected with Trump believes anything that disagrees with what they want to believe.

That includes the article that Larry posted about Barr's not believing the FBI IG's report, but it applies as surely to the Prez himself and his chosen bulldog, Rudi G. And it applies to Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana.

The facts are there. Still. But they have their eyes and ears shut, going "Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah! I'm not listening to reality!"

Kind of like the Denial Kid, himself. (Note how little Ward is posting these days.)

https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/02/politics/senate-intelligence-ukraine-2016-election/index.html

Quote
The Republican-controlled Senate Intelligence Committee looked into allegations that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election and found no evidence to support the claims, according to sources familiar with the matter.

This squares with the overall conclusion of officials who have looked into the matter. Sources tell CNN that no US intelligence agency has ever produced a product accusing the Ukrainian government of interfering in the 2016 US election.
