News Item

WASHINGTON—The U.S. job market strengthened in November, as hiring jumped and unemployment fell, adding fuel to the economic expansion.

Employers added 266,000 jobs in November and the jobless rate fell to a 50-year low of 3.5%, matching September’s level, the Labor Department said Friday. Wages advanced 3.1% from a year earlier.

The stronger pace of hiring could help juice up the broader U.S. economy, which is still expanding but at a slower pace than last year. U.S. stock futures and government-bond yields rose Friday after the data was released.

Context matters.

At least kiid seems to have dropped the phony pretense that he isn't a Trump supporter.

(I meant now/the past two years, not the last election)

Well, then you had it wrong.  I had said only thet Trump wasnt my candidate.  No mystery that I voted for the guy over Ms Clinton.
Oh, indeed. No secret at all.

There was only one racist coward hoodlum in the race. Of course you voted for him. He is your people.

8.48m Sat morn in bambutown.
Having breakfast.
Switched on tv.
Saw Greta walking and talking, 'climate emergency' protesters in streets in Europe somewhere ranting that not enough is being done, now, to stop 'climate change'.

It would be interesting to ask them just what exactly they want done, now.

Walk, bike, carpool, travel overseas by boat like Pippi Longstocking Greta T.  Reduce consumerism.  Reuse stuff, reycle when possible, promote mass transit locally, use a sturdy canvas totebag at the market, eat lower on the foodchain, buy stuff that lasts and take care of it like we humans had to do for 99% of our time on earth so far.  Reject foods that contain palm oil.  Eat local fruit instead of bananas shipped 2000 miles.   Try alternatives to rice, like millet, which produces far less methane.  Etc.

Quote
Trump and Giuliani have effectively “given the Russians ammunition they can use in an overt fashion, a covert fashion or in the twisting of information,” said John Sipher, former deputy chief of Russia operations at the CIA. Sipher and others said that it is so likely that Russia tracked the calls of Giuliani and others that the Kremlin probably knows more now about those conversations than impeachment investigators.

But, but, but Hillary!  Emails!

Hearing Vogon poetry v. watching your hand voting for Trump... tough call.

Six days on a boat v. squeezed into a flying metal tube with nasty jet lag greeting your arrival....easy call.
