There have been problems at the Lancaster Prison lately, and the whole situation is wrong, and the prison should not even be there to begin with.
The City of Lancaster needs to buy the prison, and they need to bulldoze the prison, and something better can be put there, put a nice modern locally owned movie and television studio there. And there is precedence for this.
In Lancaster there was a very bad neighborhood by the old Fairgrounds, and the City of Lancaster bought the neighborhood and they bulldozed it. That put an end to one of the worst neighborhoods I have ever seen. Lancaster can do the same thing with the prison.
Lancaster can buy the prison, and then bulldoze it, and then zone it for a movie studio to be owned and operated by a local company.
Also, out in the desert, the Joshua Trees need to be preserved, and there needs to be more Joshua Tree Preserves. We need to create more state parks, etc, to save the ancient Joshua Tree forests.
They tried to turn the Desert into a ghetto, and we must not stand for it.
The prison needs to be bulldozed, and people can make movies and television shows instead.
Salute,
Tony V.
