Need a better treaty

Trump will try to get it done before they run him out of town
No he won't. Iran has no interest in a new treaty and right now the international coalition that backed sanctions was dead before, and we just killed it deader. Trump has no ability as a negotiator beyond bullying, and no interest in the work required for rebuilding the coalition Obama and Clinton put together to restore effective international sanctions.

Besides, if I am Iran, I look to the NK model. Trump is a blowhard who threatens and rages but doesn't follow through. Once you get a bomb, he is your bitch.

Everything is transactional with this prick. Those airline passengers are dead because of this bastard.

“Mr. Trump, after the strike, told associates he was under pressure to deal with Gen. Soleimani from GOP senators he views as important supporters in his coming impeachment trial in the Senate, associates said.”

If that is true, it's a total outrage....and another perfect reason why actions like killing Soleimani should not be solely left to the President to decide, but solely up to Congress....or a secret and special Congressional committee.

Once Iran gets nukes, and backpack bombs make US cities uninhabitable, it will be too late.
Iran must never be allowed to get nukes.

Frankly I worry more about slatternly Austrialian trollops, who apparently can get talked into smuggling anything in their backpacks.

BERN, Switzerland—Hours after a U.S. strike killed Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the Trump administration sent an urgent back channel mes-sage to Tehran: Don’t escalate.

The encrypted fax was sent via the Swiss Embassy in Iran, one of the few means of direct, confidential communication between the two sides, U.S. officials said.

In the days that followed, the White House and Iranian leaders exchanged further messages, which officials in both countries described as far more measured than the fiery rhetoric traded publicly by politicians.

One Iranian official said the back channel provided a welcome bridge, when all others had been burned: “In the desert, even a drop of water matters.”

Fascinating look at how countries communicate in reality.

Backing?  I haven't donated - no.

Because that is the only definition by which one could back somebody. Uh huh. Sure.

Elections involve choices

My choice, admittedly, was Trump over Clinton

Backing Trump, as was said.

Troll.

You keep calling him a troll.   If he is,  why continue to engage?

His response didn't seem like trolling to me.   It could be interpreted as he is not donating because he hasn't made up his mind.   Just a thought.

It could be interpreted that way, but it isn't what he meant.
