Quote
"I grew up gay in Indiana,” the even-keeled Mr. Buttigieg says in a stock line when asked about the topic. “I’m not afraid of bullies.” Mr. Buttigieg’s stoicism seems genuine; it’s also done nothing to inhibit the bullies from crawling out from beneath their rocks.

The most prominent, to date, has been Rush Limbaugh, the radio host, whose enthusiasm for public predation makes him a strong contender for the title of America’s No. 1 bully. Mr. Limbaugh, who wears his sexism, racism, nativism and assorted other bigotries as badges of honor — he once invited an African American caller to “take that bone out of your nose” — last week sneered that Mr. Buttigieg “loves to kiss his husband on the debate stage.”

The Trump presidency has been a heyday for bullies at home and abroad — for schoolyard tormentors who have weaponized the president’s odious rhetoric against their Hispanic and black classmates; for tyrants around the world ever more emboldened to threaten dissidents and intimidate journalists. Could there be any clearer sign that malice is in official favor than Mr. Trump using the occasion of the State of the Union speech to honor Mr. Limbaugh, around whose neck first lady Melania Trump hung the Presidential Medal of Freedom? Could there be anyone more antithetical to the purported goal of Mrs. Trump’s “Be Best” anti-bullying campaign?

Embarrassingly obvious you didn't read the article.

Cotton is sowing a conspiracy theory by pretending there's serious doubt where there isn't.

Yet Cotton acknowledged there is no evidence that the disease originated at the lab. Instead, he suggested it’s necessary to ask Chinese authorities about the possibility, fanning the embers of a conspiracy theory that has been repeatedly debunked by experts.

And Narang,  who you misrepresented by snagging one phrase from him,  goes on to say:

“It’s a skip in logic to say it’s a bioweapon that the Chinese developed and intentionally deployed, or even unintentionally deployed,” Narang said.

He also added...

“I don’t think it’s particularly helpful, and it’s borderline irresponsible to — and it’s without evidence, so at this point it’s a conspiracy theory — peddle it,” he said. “Cotton should spend more time funding the agencies in the United States that can help contain and combat the virus rather than trying to assign blame.”

As you know,  unless your partisan bias is total and impervious to facts,  the administration has cut funds to the CDC for this very worthy purpose.

Since Kid can’t form a post worth reading due to his pronounced cranial atrophy, here’s something actually worth reading,

"The biggest danger to Australia today is Conservative politicians who are embracing the leftist/green "net zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050" drivel" - no1 radio host.

He didn't say 'drivel', he said some other word that means the same thing...maybe "bulldust".
In another rant about it he said 'fantasy'.

Net zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050...if American politicians fall for that many billions of US taxpayers' dollars will be shovelled off to China etc, there'll be no flight, no cars, no trucks, no tourist industry, no agriculture, nothing much left really.

Did I hear something?   Guess not.

Dee, thanks for the badger chimera.   No doubt the GOP would try to reframe as The Red Badger of Courage.
