Just curious - and thanks in advance

Can"t the "disenfranchised voter" in cases of closed polling spots vote absentee?

As for the rest of your bullshit, well, given your denial that NC's GOP was racist when even the Roberts Court knew it was racist, your opinion about "how election boards work" is laughable.
Oh now you want to argue gerrymandering? Not Board of elections?
Gee. Can you settle on a topic?

I'm arguing that you're a racist prick defending other racist pricks without a shred of evidence to support your position.

Josh

You show your weakness when saying "racist" or "racism".

You show your racism even more when you whine about the use of the terms racist and racism.

From 2017:
Supreme Court finds racial bias in North Carolina's congressional maps

Or, as already posted at least twice today:
Quote
The analysis finds that the 50 counties that gained the most Black and Latinx residents between 2012 and 2018 closed 542 polling sites, compared to just 34 closures in the 50 counties that have gained the fewest black and Latinx residents. This is despite the fact that the population in the former group of counties has risen by 2.5 million people, whereas in the latter category the total population has fallen by over 13,000.

Racism, Kid.

YOU support it.

WARD supports it.

And you both weakly deny it and you pretend that it is my weakness to point out your bigotry.

Not my fault you are a bigot. And the only thing that would be weak for me to do hear is to roll over when you make your lame ass accusation.

Geez, you are stubborn in your bigotry and efforts to deflect blame.

Here's the worst state for closures, Kid:
Quote
Texas:
Quote
You may vote by absentee ballot in Texas if:
you are 65 years or older;
you are disabled;
you will be out of the county on Election Day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
you are confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
[/size]

So, get your fucking "" off the disenfranchised voters phrase.

Yeah, some folks with a recently closed polling place can vote absentee. But why the fuck should they have to?! Why should they have to know 25 days before an election that that is a need?! Because racists should have been expected to shut them?!

And... not everybody has a computer at home or a printer with it. Oddly enough, the poor are less likely to. So, it's okay with you that your party creates extra hurdles for either the poor or racial minorities to vote.

You're okay with that?

Here is where you can find out what other states have restrictions on their absentee voting:

Voter suppression makes voting harder, not impossible. Understanding that every barrier peels off in particular poor voters,.elderly voters and minority voters.

And the White House incompetence goes on:

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/02/cdc-postpones-coronavirus-briefing-118815

Quote
CDC spokesperson Ben Haynes told reporters on the scheduled call that it had been pushed back and did not provide an explanation as to why or when it would be rescheduled. A White House spokesperson later said the CDC would participate in an afternoon briefing today on the coronavirus response with Vice President Mike Pence.

Also:
Quote
The CDC today also removed information on its website that detailed how many people in the country had been tested for the virus. It now only displays the number of confirmed cases. CDC has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Or as another site put it:
Quote
(A) noon CDC briefing by Nancy Messonnier, head of national center for immunization and respiratory disease, was canceled at the last minute w/o explanation. Trump was reportedly angered by Messonnier's unvarnished account of the situation

Mike Pence's evening task force session:

Not a replacement for the CDC briefing. The CDC website currently has no news posted since 2/29. (The 3/2 posting is from 2/28's telebriefing.)

And 6 dead, now.

Speaking of NC, absentee ballots and  disenfranchised voters.

Next question?
