And hey, the DJIA may be down 900+ points today, but it's still up 700ish points compared to close last Friday, not to mention over 10,000 since 4+ years ago and 6000+ from Trump's inauguration day, right?

Just a little turbulence. Grab your airbags.

We might have a vaccine within 18 months, if the first ones to go to trials work.

Besides!

The President of the United States has a hunch that the mortality rate is much lower than 3.4%. He thinks it's about 1%!!

Don't you all feel better?

I am sure Kid and Ward believe it, because the President of the United States said it and he is a stable genius!

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/05/trump-disputes-coronavirus-death-rate-121892

Quote
"Well, I think the 3.4 percent is really a false number. Now, and this is just my hunch, and — but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this. Because a lot people will have this and it's very mild. They'll get better very rapidly. They don't even see a doctor. They don't even call a doctor," Trump said.

"You never hear about those people. So you can't put them down in the category of the overall population in terms of this corona flu and — or virus. So you just can't do that," he continued. "So if, you know, we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better, just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work — some of them go to work but they get better."

"When you do have a death — like you had in the state of Washington, like you had one in California, believe you had one in New York — you know, all of a sudden, it seems like 3 or 4 percent, which is a very high number, as opposed to a fraction of 1 percent," Trump told Hannity.

"But again, they don't know about the easy cases because the easy cases don't go to the hospital. They don't report to doctors or the hospital, in many cases," Trump said. "So I think that that number is very high. I think the number, personally, I would say the number is way under 1 percent."

On Thursday morning, the president pushed back against media coverage of his interview, insisting that "I NEVER said people that are feeling sick should go to work."

"This is just more Fake News and disinformation put out by the Democrats, in particular MSDNC," he wrote on Twitter. "Comcast covers the CoronaVirus situation horribly, only looking to do harm to the incredible & successful effort being made!"[/size]

If all of the Warren folks flocked to Bernie, we'd have a race. But if they split close to evenly, in combination w/ the 2 to 1 move from Bloomberg to Biden, it's tough to see how Bernie wins.

But you can bet that his opinion about whether the leader in delegates should get the nomination even without a majority has changed!

More misleading information from the Covid-19 Czar:

Obamacare plans will cover the tests. Medicare and Medicaid plans, too.

But job related insurance is a lot less certain.

A federal judge on Thursday sharply criticized Attorney General William P. Barr’s handling of the report by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, saying that Mr. Barr put forward a “distorted” and “misleading” account of its findings and lacked credibility on the topic.

Judge Reggie B. Walton said Mr. Barr could not be trusted and cited “inconsistencies” between his statements about the report when it was secret and its actual contents that turned out to be more damaging to President Trump. Judge Walton said Mr. Barr’s “lack of candor” called “into question Attorney General Barr’s credibility and, in turn, the department’s” assurances to the court.

Sure, the President went on Fox News and lied to the American public about the fatality rate of the virus.

And yeah, Mike Pence announced a falsehood about the insurance coverage for the tests.

Not to mention the failure to deliver the million test kits tomorrow as promised by the Pence-led Task Force (despite Ms. Miller's statements to the contrary).

No, Kid, the crisis is not being handled "just fine."

It is being mishandled.

Wow

Brazile lost her nut
Why? Because her tolerance for right wing blather spewing Russian talking points reached its limits?

She lost it over simple accusations party bigwigs favor Biden.
Trump and the Russians following their 2016 playbook, playing up Bernieboys' sense of grievance to suppress their turnout. Braziel properly shut that crap down, hard.

Nice to see that former Rep. Schock has found his way to embracing same sex marriage...

now that he has admitted that it could apply to him.

The entire point of the republican party is that all of its officials and operatives think about nothing except their next chance to be bought off.

Mike has the stack for that.

Not quite, there are issues involved and a lot of lost causes on the side of the dems. Immigration for instance. Republicans are for secure borders and preserving things for Amercan citizens. Dems are for cheap nannies and keeping babies out of cages and a Latino voting bloc. . Trump and the republicans are for veteran entitlements, Bernie is for anything but. Bernie is for the free lunch; open enrollment, no tuitions,

You continue to utter such bullshit as if somebody brainwashed you.

We are for keeping babies out of cages. That you are not is disgusting.

The GOP is for denying the vulnerable anything and for controling women and keeping minorities from gaining power if they can.

They are for *some* American citizens - themselves, and screw the rest of us.

Your mistake is in thinking you are among "themselves" when you are one of those they will walk all over.

Stop it already. Enforcing the laws and keeping illegal aliens out of the country is not baby killing.

Babies in cages and children in cages are inappropriate, even if they don't kill them, Luee.

You seem to think that's okay.

CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.

You seem to think that's okay.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/why-are-migrant-children-dying-u-s-custody-n1010316

Children are dying while in our country's custody, Luee. How many is still okay to you.

Watch this and tell me about CBP:

Then tell me that that's okay with you.
