Simple way to rid one's country of Coronavirus; [ScoMo almost got it right in the beginning, but the govt didn't go far enough.
No surprise that "racist" was being tossed around.

Simple way;  [vaccine in about 12 months].

. Seal the borders.
. Ban anyone who is outside the country now, from entering...unless they go into quarantine for 14 days.
Anyone in the country now, who has the virus already, will either pass away or recover.
Anyone who has the virus but isn't yet showing symptoms, will get the symptoms and either pass away or recover.
Say 4 weeks,...and the country will be Coronavirus free.
Compensate industries that need to be compensated.

Build quarantine tent cities if necessary.

Your compassion continues to be astounding.

But also... you didn't announce that you would have everybody in the country under quarantine for those 4 weeks.

If you wouldn't, then your plan saves nobody in particular. If you would, I will await your explanation for how you will keep folks abed.

So the democrat presidential primary is down to Bernie and Joe.
The DNC and the millionaires have bought off all other contenders and thrown Joe to the status of front runner.

In the process they have  smeared Bernie as a racist, sexist dupe for Putin, an amateur and back-bencher who doesn’t understand power and can’t “get things done.”

Can the label “ deplorable” be far behind.?

And therein lies the danger for the party bigwigs. Bernie is the ONLY candidate from the clown car of goofs that fell one-by-one due to impotence to emerge with an excited and loyal following.
Granted a Socialist  and communist apologist should be a sure loser to Trump BUT Bernie is Bernie and doesn’t back down on his feelings.

Does Joe even remember how many times he has contradicted himself?

The party of incompetence is betting that Bernie won’t attack Joe in the remainder of the nominating campaign. Bernie let Hillary have her untested say in 2016 and lost. He has yet to challenge Joe and is now behind.

Yet Bernie has come a long way and raised a lot of money from thousands of nickel and dime donors. Donors like that show up at the polls.

Now he has to show he knows how to win. Especially against an opponent who is pathetically, and
insultingly beatable.

Bernie, for all the DNC roadblocks in his path, should carry a chip on his shoulder for trailing to the likes of Joe Biden.

If Bernie goes meekly into the night Joe will he left to campaign against Trump  and accuse him of everything the democrats accused Trump of for the last four years and got nothing.

Which is what they will get again.

Clinton had a shot (and won the popular vote) because she was a US Senator and a Secretary of State, as well as having the familial connection and FLOTUS on her resume.   I predict that someone with no real experience (besides sitting in,  mushroom-like, at a G20) and a convicted felon for a father (and possibly for a husband) is not going to get in with a dynasty card.   YMMV.

"Likely" recognizes there might be some words changed or sentences rearranged.

"Do face masks help?"

“Surgical masks will not prevent your acquiring diseases,” said Dr. William Schaffner, a professor of preventive medicine and infectious diseases at Vanderbilt University, and the medical director of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases

Here's a paragraph from Matt Taibbi article on Bernie,  in Rolling Stone:

. They’ve smeared him as a racist, sexist dupe for Putin, an amateur and back-bencher who doesn’t understand power and can’t “get things done.”

Now here's Redward's second paragraph...

In the process they have  smeared Bernie as a racist, sexist dupe for Putin, an amateur and back-bencher who doesn’t understand power and can’t “get things done.”

That Tom Lehrer song about Lobachevski comes to mind.  "Plagiarize!   Let no one's work escape your eyes! "

You don't listen too good,  do ye?   Masks lessen you touching your face,  and NIOSH 95 masks catch some aerosol particles,  which does help your odds in close quarters.   Stop watching the Propaganda Channel,  and you might broaden your mind.

That said, Adams warned that wearing a mask was not just ineffective, it was potentially harmful and may increase the risk of getting the virus.

"We know that masks are not effective for the general public in keeping them safe from coronavirus and may actually increase their risk of getting coronavirus or the flu because if you don't wear a mask properly you often will end up touching your face frequently and can increase your risk of exposure to a respiratory disease," he explaine

4 confirmed cases in NJ.  A 5th suspected.

Get your masks ready ...

they don't help.

They do if you come in contact with someone who has the virus.
They can stop transmission and protect you from getting the virus.
Which is the whole point.  Why is this hard to understand?

Why do you think health care professionals wear them?

Same reason as during surgery.

Poor Red. How hard it must be to let others do your writing for you.
