Did anyone think they were his words - and what does it matter?

Here's a paragraph from Matt Taibbi article on Bernie,  in Rolling Stone:

. They’ve smeared him as a racist, sexist dupe for Putin, an amateur and back-bencher who doesn’t understand power and can’t “get things done.”

Now here's Redward's second paragraph...

In the process they have  smeared Bernie as a racist, sexist dupe for Putin, an amateur and back-bencher who doesn’t understand power and can’t “get things done.”

That Tom Lehrer song about Lobachevski comes to mind.  "Plagiarize!   Let no one's work escape your eyes! "
Poor Red. How hard it must be to let others do your writing for you.
LOL!

Trump playing tennis,  eh.  Reminds me... A detail that has slipped by unnoticed was that potus never did have that ‘second half’ of his annual medical examination that was supposed to have taken place in February of this year.   The 'first half' as some may recall had all the earmarks of something like a mild heart attack or angina attack which was being covered up.

Pretty effective coverup.

4 confirmed cases in NJ.  A 5th suspected.

Get your masks ready ...

they don't help.

They do if you come in contact with someone who has the virus.
They can stop transmission and protect you from getting the virus.
Which is the whole point.  Why is this hard to understand?

Why do you think health care professionals wear them?

Same reason as during surgery.

Opposite reason.   In surgery,  you are preventing your own breathing into an open incision.

When working with flu patients,  however... let a doctor from the Mayo Clinic explain...

Quote
For health care workers caring for people with influenza, surgical-type masks may help block respiratory droplets carrying influenza germs and transmission of germs from the hands to the mouth...

That's all Bo was saying.   Not rocket science.

The declaration, signed Friday night and announced Saturday, comes with the disease more prevalent than ever in the country and production delays undercutting the government’s initial, optimistic estimates that as many as 120 million doses of the vaccine could be available by mid-October.

Production delays

Under Obama

Imagine that.

Thanks for the link, Larry

From a very reliable source

Kid, would it kill you to bother listing your "very reliable source" instead of just telling us how terribly reliable it is?

And now I know why.

Your source was somebody's uncle and proves to have had some very misleading statements in it. For safety reasons, I removed the data in the post.

If Bernie goes meekly into the night Joe will he left to campaign against Trump  and accuse him of everything the democrats accused Trump of for the last four years and got nothing.

Which is what they will get again.

Your English is as disappointing as your memory and reasoning skills.

The first two years of trump got 5.6 million more people to vote against him and his slimy puppet party than they did to years prior (trump -3 million in 2016, -8.6 million in 2018). The last two years can easily grow the spread by another 5 million.

Trump is a truly terrible president despised by most Americans to a degree never before seen in history for a myriad of very clear reasons.

Trump isn’t even vaguely doing the job and he’s stealing barrels of taxpayer money. He will be punished for all his crimes you pretend to ignore.

Vice President Mike Pence said Saturday that the United States is taking "decisive action" to deal with the crew of a cruise ship that may have also worked on one of the Princess line ships that have already dealt with the novel coronavirus outbreak.

"We are tracking at this point a ship that may have shared crew with the Diamond Princess or Grand Princess and we have taken decisive action to hold until we do a full medical assessment of the crew on that ship and we'll just continue to lean into this effort," Pence said at a news conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Pence did not name the ship in his remarks nor provide more details about what action is being taken. The Grand Princess remains off the coast of California with passengers and crew in quarantine.

Why are they just discovering this now?

Or why are we just discovering this now?

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/03/bethlehem-lockdown-coronavirus-cases-confirmed-200307054939115.html

Will their government prove more effective at controling its spread?

Taiwan's government seems at the moment to have done a good job controling theirs, for all that they have more cases than many places, given the huge flow of people between them and the mainland.

Italy's thinking of just plain closing Lombardy. I can't imagine that is an easy choice to make. How would (will?) we respond should the US or a state government feel compelled to make that decision for an area as large as Lombardy?! 23,844 square kilometres (9,206 sq mi) - about the size of New Hampshire.

Bernie's message comes from the dark times of the 1930's. But he has adopted it to starving college students and immigrant minorities rather than out of work unionists. It is still a chicken in every pot and big brother will take care of you.
