Latest numbers on Coronavirus.
The world is still 100 % under control of God

Babylon Bee

Asshole

A world wide pandemic and THIS guy decides its time to examine every bit of his asparagus to make sure there are no aspersions.

Motherfucking Republicans...

Gohmert said that he had a number of questions he wanted answered before the vote, but there was no time. "We voted, and I truly had wanted to vote yes, but could not for a bill that created so many concerns without time to examine whether some of our language did more harm than good."

"Unfortunately, now that it has passed the House, we will find out what this bill actually does," he said. "Hopefully, the Senate will take the time to clean up the damage our bill caused and not just rubber-stamp it, so I can vote for the bill that they send back to the House."

God is punishing trump for blowing off infrastructure week after infrastructure week. Trump is a walking (shuffling is more accurate) den of iniquities. His adherents have brought on the biblically mandated suite of plagues.

Happy National Day of Prayer, Ward.

If the Bee is right, then God has a lot to answer for. I am pretty sure that if there is an omnipotent deity, it is paying roughly 0% of attention to Earth.

Given the amazing success of pathogens like smallpox,  plague,  cholera,  typhoid,  tuberculosis, malaria,  Dengue fever,  Yellow Fever,  West Nile, Zika, hemorrhagic fevers,   Creutzfeld-Jacob (100% fatal,  quite the achievement), encephalitis,  staphylococcus aureus, hepatitis,  HIV,  and influenza,  I'd say God is a big fan of bacteria.

The Dow Jones Industrial Averages is still above where it was on Trump's Inauguration Day.

Mind you, had it stayed open those last 10 minutes, it might not be. It plummeted 640 points in the last 35 minutes, so the other 450 points above Jan 20, 2017 could have gone pretty quickly.

It's shed 30% so far. It would be nice if it settled down. (My own stocks are down about 15%, but I know some folks who are very anxious.)

So mankind has to survive as best it can for about a year until vaccine is made?

"White House recommends people avoid gatherings of more than 10 people"

A bit of a turnaround from the "tremendous control" that we had during the weekend, huh?

Luee, the first pass at a vaccine was given to the first human today. If it works, then there is a chance we will get one in a year, but closer to 18 months is still more likely, no matter how we rush it.

There are companies and governments all over the world and I suppose one of them might announce one before that, but the scientific community is going to be pretty skeptical that all the Ts were crossed and all the Is were dotted.

Three questions to watch:
1. Will we begin to see quarantines imposed by federal or state leaders?
2. How will federal resources be deployed to assist in state and local efforts to combat coronavirus?
3. How extensively will coronavirus disrupt our normal civic functioning including courts and elections?

Yes - until then the use of anti-virals including some being used to combat cancers will surely be beneficial.

1. The Federal Government has no Constitutional Power to impose a National Quarantine
2. The Federal Government can assist in many ways states that impose quarantines.
3.  The Courts are already affected. Ohio ( for example)is barring any in person voting in its Primary before Election  Day.

Stop using ibuprofen

Not yet accepted as science, Kid.

The French report on that is disputed by others.

And... it would be any anti-inflammatory, if the French report is right.

Stop using ibuprofen

Better advice. Don’t listen to advice from people on the internet.
