This would be another reason I am concerned:

The nation’s second-largest municipal health system has told its staff that it is essentially abandoning hope of containing the coronavirus outbreak and instructed doctors not to bother testing symptomatic patients if a positive result won’t change how they would be treated.
Some people need to lose their jobs, and wiser people need to be put into those positions.
Of course it matters if we test people, and of course they will be treated different if they test positive.
We are also going to advance quickly in our ability to treat cases as doctors and researchers battle this illness and share information. And that is a great thing about the world wide web, doctors and scientists can share their findings quickly.
We should not have pessimists in high positions when it comes to helping others, we need optimists who are going to fight to improve outcomes.
It may not all be roses, but we can fight like hell to improve the outcome.
The pessimists should not be in leadership positions.
Salute,
Tony V.
