Millions of mail-in ballots went missing in 2018: Report

By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times - Monday, April 13, 2020
More than a million mail-in ballots were sent to the wrong addresses by elections officials in 2018, according to a new analysis Monday that challenged state and local officials’ rush to embrace mail-in voting amid the coronavirus crisis.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, a conservative election watchdog, compiled data from the Election Assistance Commission and said 1.1 million ballots were deemed undeliverable in the most recent federal election, out of 42.4 million ballots mailed.

In case you were wondering why the dems are pushing for mail-in voting.

1 in 40 Americans in states with vote by mail options moved in 2018 without informing the state of the address they were leaving. Inconceivable!

Vote by mail is a secret plot to get candidates with the most support elected. Red has it all figured out.

Despite the rosy spin from industry muckety mucks with share values to think about, it looks like the US petroleum industry will reach a state of near death. The intelligent option would be to invest in its clean replacement rather than revive it once we have intelligent leadership and a vaccine.

Wisconsin takes a step toward justice today, giving a nice preview of the National mood despite full press fuckery from the fascist right wing.

An interesting situation, worthy of a citation and a little context,

And note, of course, the were undeliverable,  meaning they were returned, and the addresses had to either request mail in ballots or vote by some other means. Since they were returned, no one unlawfully used those mail in ballots to vote. So what that group determined was that a relatively small number of people moved without notifying their board of elections. What that has to do with anything, we can leave to Red to LOL about, accuse us of not reading, and never explain.
