Is it legal assembly or not?

When they go into a building in which guns are banned? When they are violating the shelter-in-place order/social distancing while doing it?

No, Kid, it isn't.

Why can't you mow your lawn in Michigan?

Ask one of your workmates at the St Petersburg troll farm.   Then have a seat, as Larry would say.

No

They are not terrorists.

But you like labels - and you own the place - so do carry on.

I though you just said this isn't a chat room and you don't converse.   Who are you talking to?

The Rolling Stone story is dated February 1, BTW.   So those gun nuts were not violating any SIP order at that time.   Just flashing their metal dicks.  And their second amendment right to public tumescence.

Meanwhile, some of you may enjoy this,  heroes of the pandumbic:

Wow.   I hadn't read that line yet when I previously posted.  Is that just perfection or what?

Is it legal assembly or not?
It is a protest against government actions that is a fundamental right protected by the first amendment.

...and you own the place

And other lies you tell yourself to make yourself feel better.

I still don't own the place. Otherwise the rules would be different.

Protests are fundamental rights.

Taking firearms into the state capital is not a fundamental right. Using them to intimidate is not, either.

And violating the rules on gatherings over a certain size during a medical emergency is also not a fundamental right.

Crawl back under your rock, Ward.

On Monday, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said told Fox News' "America's Newsroom" that he is working on legislation that will "open American courts to all the victims of the virus so they can sue Chinese officials. We can impose sanctions on Chinese who were involved in this coverup."

Wise?  Or should we just let it go?

Fuck Tom Cotton.

It's frankly amazing that a First Amendment scholar such as Red has never acknowledged the legitimacy of
time, place and manner restrictions and continues to insist that the rights to free speech and assembly are absolute.

I beg to differ.

He totally accepts that there are limits to it:

Black people should shut up.

Liberals should stay out of the roadway or expect to be run over.

Etc.
