Why can't you mow your lawn in Michigan?

Still waiting for the punchline.

Turns out you can - since mayors are defying the batshit crazy governor.

In Georgia and Florida? Yeah.

But the batshit mayors in Michigan are defying the rational and on target governor there, with the "I'll leave it up to the governor" president's encouragement.

Here, Kid, this is for you:

Tennessee South Carolina join Georgia in attempt to get back to some normalcy

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee announced his statewide stay-at-home order will expire April 30, and the vast majority of businesses in 89 counties allowed to reopen on May 1. Businesses may open even sooner, he said.

Georgia's cases are still increasing more than 6% per day. Their deaths are still increasing by 12+% per day. Only 15 states have more deaths per million population.

How can this be a good move, Kid?

South Carolina is getting new cases at half the rate that Tennessee is and TN is getting them for less than half the rate than Georgia is, though their new deaths are coming in faster than South Carolina's at the moment.

I pray it will not be a mistake, but for Georgia, at least, I would bet that it is one.

And again, you are looking at stupid numbers.

It's not the deaths to cases numbers, especially given that we have no idea how cases are being determined in most places. It's the ratio of deaths to officially recovered.

With people still dying/getting this virus under the descending numbers model the US government prefers to see - how is it any individual death can be attributed (and trust me - they will) to states opening up too early?

Unless new cases/deaths fall to zero before the re-opening, governors are not protected from the critics.  And even then......

By the time foolish white people wake up to the monster they’ve created it will too late for at least 45,000 people.
