Another question is why kids and young people don't seem to get the virus (or are asymptomatic and  therefore go untested)?

Blaming China for a slow response and mishandling the disease, is also an indictment of the Trump Admin which, unlike China, had weeks/months of warning and preparation time, more info about the virus and its effects, and started out with zero cases -- and yet handled it much worse than China (or anywhere else).  The US has nearly 1/3 of all the cases and deaths in the world.

Incompetence has a price.
