I am more than a bit confused.

They've adjusted their projected death toll up to 66,000 by August.

We're at 45,000 now and had 19,000+ in the last 9 days, with a new record high yesterday. If we merely match the last 9 days, we'll be at 64,000+ by the start of May and they're talking 66,000 in August?!

Well once numbers fall below a thousand a day.......

There will be quibbles over exact counts anyway - be sure the Dems will be tacking on to the total - saying there were X amount purposely "uncounted" or unincluded" .

This is why talks of body counts are not only morbid but downright stupid.

As bullshit arguments go, this is more asinine than most of yours, Kid.

You ascribe to Dems "tacking on to the total" as if people weren't using formal counts but making up their own.

We know that some places intentionally underreported their deaths or failed to count them. This is not conjecture or guesswork.

We know that we miss deaths - the earliest COVID-19 death in the US had previously been thought to be Feb 29, but it's now realized to have been weeks earlier.

We know bunches of nursing home deaths did not get included in counts. This is why a few days ago we had 2600 additional deaths added to the total.

And yes, "once numbers fall below 1000 a day..." but if we are at 64,000 by May 1, falling under 1000 a day is not going to have us at 66,000 in August!

Not even using your math skills.

The Whitmer for Biden Veep campaign seems to be on life support.

Forget her unpopular state lockdown orders that led to protests. ( her response was along the lines of Shut Up! Obey!)

She wasn't going to ever be Biden's Veep nor was she campaigning for it.

But sure, her chances got cut in half from 0% down to 0/2%.

Josh is right.  It was just media bullshit.  Truth is it just cannot be a governor - (which means Stacy Abrams has a clear path - heh)

There is one person Biden could pick that would have a slight chance to get him my vote - though last night's appearance on James Corden sure gives me further pause.  There were tears - say no more.

Has any new presidential candidate you can recall spoken of not serving EIGHT years?

"Well after three years, we will review......"

What?

As for undercounting...

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/04/21/world/coronavirus-missing-deaths.html?et_rid=1857161761&s_campaign=fastforward:newsletter

There are reasons we believe there is substantial undercounting and it has nothing to do with "wanting more deaths" or whatever bullshit you come up with, Kid.

Watching Tucker and Sean decomposing on TV correlates to higher infection and mortality rates.

The same could probably be said of listening to Kiid or Red.

Fortunately no one ever listens to Kiid and Red since, like Sean and TukTuk, they are clearly idiots.

Hmmm

On April 1st The Detroit Free Press reported on an appearance by Biden on MSNBC’ s 11th Hour.

On Tuesday's edition of MSNBC's "The 11th Hour," Brian Williams asked Democratic presidential candidate front-runner Joe Biden how many names are on his possible running mate list.
Williams continued with the question, pressing for details, asking specifically "if any of the figures who have  emerged from this coronavirus crisis, thinking specifically of, say, the governor of Michigan, if any of those figures have lengthened the list."
Biden replied, "She hasn't lengthened the list. She made the list in my mind two months ago."

If we’re going to go governor we should be looking at New Mexico.

Republicans make really effective presidential campaign adds

Ones like this one, already airing, look to be remarkably effective at clarifying the issues before us and swaying swing voters.

Funny - I don't see a quote in the piece to support this headline

Others pick up the CNN story, with the headline - and with no Trump quote (piece quotes only Ga Governor Kemp and Atlanta mayor Bottoms)
