One

billion

doses

Beautiful

For those of us who still work for a living  and can't spend sixteen hours a day watching news feeds, it would be helpful if you follow forum's rules and post links or at least your source.   No context, no link..... billion doses of what?   Cracklin Rosie?

How about this?

When there is no link, assume the response was to the post immediately preceeding it (when there is content in between, a link is given).  Over linking is unnecessary - read it in rhythm.

Even you aren't that stupid.

A billion doses of bullshit until proven otherwise.

Trump is not a President but he plays one on TV and that is good enough for the poster who thinks the West Wing was real.

Needs dislikes Sorkin.  Funny.

The only reason the FBI set Flynn up was to, at the very least, get him fired because the Obama gang knew they could not continue the Collusion Hoax with Flynn as National Security advisor.

- Flynn lied to the Vice President about not discussing retaliatory measures against Russia on the call (according to the Vice President)
- A country calling in to in incoming National Security Advisor in order to secretly discuss sanctions is NOT above board.
- Russia knew the statements being made in public by Spicer and others about those calls were lies, and therefore Russia had leverage over Flynn, which under any normal administration would be enough to disqualify someone from getting a security clearance.
- And while all that was going on, Flynn was an undeclared foreign agent of Turkey, which also disqualifies him from having a security clearance, obviously.

All of those things made Flynn's position in National Security impossible before even getting into the fact that he lied to the FBI, and none of it having anything to do with Obama (lol) This is something Trump himself admitted when his only complaint was that he wasn't told earlier.

But that was before Trump had Barr, and before he needed to line up political show-trials against former Obama Administration officials and to clear the way for more Russian interference in the election.  Their plan to use Ukraine to smear Bidden was revealed, so fuck it, they will do it themselves.  And REDSTATEWARD can hardly wait!
Nice fiction.
Oh look! The man who has constructed an anti-Obama conspiracy theory out of whole cloth and spittle finds your conclusion from the evidence implausible!

They absolutely are - and it's logical to post in this manner rather than quote an entire post that immediately preceded yours

Would have to be hotels.
And the government would have to buy them first

In the late 80's and early 90's NYC kept detained immigrants in hotels that the gov't owned.  I think they had been condemned or taken for back taxes, etc.  Problem was most of these former fleabag hotels were in the heart of Manhattan and had many exits.  So the staff simply starting chaining people to the radiators.  When this came out it was a scandal (of course in violation of fire codes, but also inhumane). And they stopped.

My point is that if they could do it with overflow immigration detainees, they could (probably) do it for homeless people who are allowed to roam around.  I've been away too long to know anything much about the building stock in NYC, but I imagine there are buildings that could be condemned or taken for back taxes, or that the city already owns and just need fixing up.   Former hotels are good, but it's also easy to put up interior walls and make a communal kitchen on each floor of a building.

I mean were talking a city where some folks make a hundreds of millions a year.
And a city that (normally) relies a fair amount on tourism.

https://www.militarytimes.com/news/coronavirus/2020/05/11/cno-to-quarantine-after-exposure-to-covid-19-national-guard-bureau-chief-tests-positive/

Follow-up to my earlier post about General Lengyel, Chief of the National Guard Bureau. For some reason that escapes me, the number of news reports on this is very limited. I was seeing it on ABC from Reuters, but not from CNN or NBC. If it is mentioned at all, it is like this from the CNN report:
Quote
"Lengyel tested positive for COVID Saturday afternoon but a subsequent test Saturday was negative. He will undergo a third test Monday morning to confirm his negative status," a Defense Department spokesman said.

I love "to confirm his negative status." It's as if they won't tell us if it confirms his positive status.

Wait... "Monday morning" was a while ago - I expect he's had his test already.

Odd that the results aren't in the news. Must be coincidence.
