Morning Dolt:

'So the president is not taking it, and yet, and yet, he's telling Americans that they should take it,' Scarborough asserted in claiming the president is lying.

All fifty states are now reopening their economies although not all at the same speed.

Hallelujah!

The scientist who created Florida's COVID-19 data portal wasn't just removed from her position on May 5, she was fired on Monday by the Department of Health, she said, for refusing to manipulate data.

https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/05/19/florida-covid-19-coronavirus-data]

Researchers who saw the email reacted with shock and dismay, suggesting it could be evidence that the Gov. Ron De Santis' government was censoring information to support the case for re-opening Florida.
The only part of the story  that is relevant to my question.
And from that you conclude that “ could be evidence” also “ could “ apply to all data sets in your previous post.
Not very scientific reasoning.

Did I say my prior comment on data sets was based on FL alone?   Adult conversation is based on basic good faith attempts to understand another person's  point.   There has been data tweaking in other states,  as well.   And,  as Oilcan's post suggests,  it might make more sense to trust a dedicated scientist than a politician on the matter.   Science is about finding truth,  politics is about burying it out in the cornfield.  That's the reason we need watchdogs and nonpartisan agencies.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/05/20/trump-just-said-corrupt-part-out-loud/

Republicans were right when they said Trump had learned his lesson after Ukraine.  Of course, what Republicans taught him was exactly the wrong lesson; that he was free to use federal funds to extort political favors (see threats to withhold COVID funds from States, and now the above) and free to pursue the ends that he hoped to receive from Ukraine via his own DOJ (see Barr opening "investigations" into Obama Administration.)

REDSTATEWARD and kiidcarter8 think all this rank corruption is just great, though, because its their "team" doing it.

If science is about “ finding” the truth it might behoove you to post some of your supporting evidence. As of now you have offered none.

While reading Larry's blood-curdling WaPo link on the Extortion POTUS, I came across the diary of a potato guardian....

I am a simple potato guardian who needs my Second Amendment rights

The farmer’s daughter brought me another glass of milk and watched me as I sipped it. I think it is too late to tell her that milk is not a good drink when you are hot in the middle of the day. I think we have gotten into a pattern now, which I regret. She is nice. She has kind eyes, like I imagine a potato would have, though she only has two, which is low for a potato....

That guy is all over the place.  I like how he continually quotes himself.

What I find interesting in the conspiracy theories that blather on about global surveillance networks as part of the coronavirus hoax is that it doesn't make sense to have everyone wear face obscuring masks if you want to surveil them wherever they go.   If you go somewhere and turn off your phone (or as I often do,  leave it in the car),  you're pretty anonymous if you're masked up.   The whole point of the FR algorithms that has people so concerned is,  erm,  facial analysis.

You're missing the secret chips being inserted into everybody's purchased masks. You're only "safe" by using ones you make yourself and then you aren't safe from the virus - they get you either way.

Besides, they see the mask you chose from above and use it to identify you, anyway.

I see more and more how trolling works.   Obviously I and others have posted multiple links here over the past couple months on underreporting,  incomplete pathology on death certificates,  and discounting fatalities that didn't meet overly rigid criteria.   You chose to ignore all of them,  so you can pretend you need me to go hunt them all down.   Sorry,  but nope.

Damn.   I thought the secret chips were in the Dip-Tet booster shots,  so I skipped all those.  Sneaky bastardes.
