This appears to be nothing but absurd hypotheticals.   The sort of thing a judge would severely admonish attorneys for presenting in a court.   Hmm.
Let me guess. The next page on your resume will be about being a pre-law student?
LOL!

"I only post adult facts."

Like that, huh?

So adult. So fact.

Facts that are kept in a special section at the back of the video store. Facts Red takes home in special nondescript brown bags.

I guess this is a Barton example  of “ adult conversation based on basic good faith attempts to understand another person's  point.”

LOL!
You have never made a "basic good faith attempt to understand another person's  point" in all the time you have posted here.
i think the fish is laughing at you.
I think it is an inanimate fucking object. And you are a sealion.

On your first point, it seems that at a number of levels it’s a coherent chunk of code.

I’m right there with you on your second point. He’s the kind of sealion to who I wouldn’t throw fish though, just soggy Cheetos and empty sunflower seed shells.

Restrict what needs restricting, SPEND what needs spending, use the teachers willing to take whatever risk they feel there is...

and OPEN IN SEPTEMBER

To not open is going down a very very bad path.

Great. We can use a wealth tax to give each teacher a quarter million dollars this year on top of their salary. Since they already buy their own supplies, they’ll pick up PPE slack and cleaning supplies. Empower them to hire and pay their own interns to cover additional staffing needs. The Unions will cover best practices and training along with leveraging teachers’ new collective buying power.

Like prison wardens in the Deep South, teachers will need to be able to pocket any and all of the quarter million plus salary they haven’t spent by the end of the year. Then we tax the rich again the year after and start the cycle over.

You said anything. That will get us open in September.

Unbelievable on many levels.

He's saying the quiet part out loud, yes, but the truly nutty thing is that he thinks this is a legitimate critique he is leveling at a news media outlet in the United States of America (leaving aside one that markets itself as "Fair and Balanced")

A study of 96,000 hospitalized coronavirus patients on six continents found that those who received an antimalarial drug promoted by President Trump as a “game changer” in the fight against the virus had a significantly higher risk of death compared with those who did not.

People treated with hydroxychloroquine, or the closely related drug chloroquine, were also more likely to develop a type of irregular heart rhythm, or arrhythmia, that can lead to sudden cardiac death, it concluded.

“It’s one thing not to have benefit, but this shows distinct harm,” said Eric Topol, a cardiologist and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute. “If there was ever was hope for this drug, this is the death of it.”

David Maron, director of preventive cardiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine, said that “these findings provide absolutely no reason for optimism that these drugs might be useful in the prevention or treatment of covid-19.”

Nearly 15,000 of the 96,000 patients in the analysis were treated with hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine alone or in combination with a type of antibiotics known as a macrolide, such as azithromycin, within 48 hours of their diagnosis.

The difference between patients who received the antimalarials and those who did not was striking.

For those given hydroxychloroquine, there was a 34 percent increase in risk of mortality and a 137 percent increased risk of a serious heart arrhythmias. For those receiving hydroxychloroquine and an antibiotic — the cocktail endorsed by Trump — there was a 45 percent increased risk of death and a 411 percent increased risk of serious heart arrhythmias.

Those given chloroquine had a 37 percent increased risk of death and a 256 percent increased risk of serious heart arrhythmias. For those taking chloroquine and an antibiotic, there was a 37 percent increased risk of death and a 301 percent increased risk of serious heart arrhythmias.

There have been at least 13 studies in recent months on hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine as a treatment for covid-19 patients. They have included randomized controlled studies and observational analyses encompassing patients on the continuum from mild illness to those near death. Evidence of any benefit, such as viral clearance or improved symptoms, has been almost nonexistent.

And in other news, your "president" praised the "good bloodlines" of the notorious anti-Semite Henry Ford during his speech at the auto-maker.

Rightly, people are calling for an apology, but what is the point?  You apologize for something said in the heat of the moment, or when the imprecisions of speech lead people to misunderstand the intent.  But this isn't that.  It is a window into the brain of Donald Trump, and how he measures the value of human beings.

Oh, but his son-in-law is Jewish…

Henry Ford was a bigot. So was Harry Truman
Ford created a automobile assembly line that built the Model T.   His thousands of employees( Jews included) made top wages in the industry and the car was the first to be mass produced and affordable to the rising middle class. Ford also spawned the Ford Foundation whose philanthropy supports causes like the Arts and social diversity.
Truman, known for referring to Jews as “kikes” ,or worse, was the first world country leader to recognize the provisional Jewish government as de facto authority of the Jewish state, Israel.

When I noticed yesterday that 45 didn't understand the phrase "per capita, " it was a reminder that we are spending too much time combing through the utterances of a blithering idiot.   Here's the quote BTW....

THE PRESIDENT: And, you know, when you say “per capita,” there’s many per capitas. It’s, like, per capita relative to what? But you can look at just about any category, and we’re really at the top, meaning positive on a per capita basis, too. They’ve done a great job.

Just to get everyone up to speed:  Unless you have a population whose members happen to possess more than one head apiece, there's one unequivocal meaning of per capita.

Henry Ford was a bigot.

Henry Ford was a well-documented anti-Semite and Nazi sympathizer whose views were inspirational for Adolph Hitler.  Hitler reportedly had a picture of him in his office, had his anti-Semitic articles translated into German, and cited him in his manifesto Mein Kampf.

And your "president" praised his "good bloodlines" in a statement that would be completely bizarre if not understood as a barely disguised dog-whistle to white supremacists, or at the very least (as I said) a window into Trump's own bigoted brain.

But you don't care that your "president" is a bigot and racist, because taxcuts.
