Trump should resign. He should fully confess to his lifetime of wrong doing then hand over his books and the keys to his properties.

The law will take care of the rest.

Thanks for the input, pal.

If I thought you had any, I’d ask you to tell your friends.

If we all push together it will happen sooner rather than later and with even more carnage.

In part, he was your mistake, but it’s still not to late for you to begin to make amends.

Let's create a Go Fund Me page for Colin Kaepernick with a goal of 1 million dollars.
The condition would be that Colin would need to do a ride along with white Police in the most violent part of Chicago every night for 2 weeks to get the cash.
I think the whole kneeling thing would go away.
Don't get me wrong I hated seeing that guy get killed in Minneapolis but I am sick of celebrities acting like they really know the game!

Yup Kaepernick is  a fool. social media post was englishtening, calling for revolt. Offers no words of peace, no guidance, only loot and burn. What a leadership figure for the black community right there

What’s the rationale for not arresting the cop who murdered Mr. Floyd in broad daylight and camera?

They were arresting him for ALLEGEDLY passing a counterfeit twenty.

Eric Gardner was murdered  six years ago for selling loose cigarettes. His murderer was fired after more than five years.

You want peace in Minneapolis?

Make the arrest.

President cannot order this, can he?

Fuck, he can’t tie his own shoes.

I am asking what you know of the law - and your opinion on what Trump should do.

No, you're not.

You're baiting him or trying to, because you're an asshole.

He doesn't need your fucking tests. Nor do we.

Even more than usual, Trump is looking for fights and diversions.
It's worrisome trying to parse to what degree he is genuinely unstable and to what degree it's a reality president ratings ploy.

Election can't come soon enough (assuming it comes at all).
Dems need to start pushing hard to retake the Senate.  Make the case for Biden and a Dem Senate talking up the policies that will benefit perhaps 80% of the population.

Dems just need to keep a light in the world and be sure that the true picture can be caught and presented to keep purchase in the collective consciousness.

This shit just can’t keep up.

Minneapolis is the result of sane people Deciding that Central Park Five and Eric Garner was no way to get done in. You clap back disproportionately at genuine lynchings, otherwise lynchers, terminally abusive types keep at it getting deeper into their pathologies as the body count rises and the pool of blood widens and eventually ends up lapping at your door. Do dumb fucks and agents provocateur piggyback moments like this with their bullshit? Always. Does that matter? A fuckton less than the knee on the neck.

Smart authorities will sequester brutal cops, especially those who are starring in viral tapes loudly and publicly in holding cells till evidence can be gathered and an initial review , preferably one followed by a pubic hearing, can be conducted. They may have to empty out a drunk tank to do this every now and then, but it’s so much better than cleaning up a burnt out neighborhood.

Before Kiid who was very much in the “we’ll just give everyone malaria drugs and it will go away” camp and at any rate thought the whole thing is being overblown uses Covid the way he’s used the GWoT as a reason that people under the heel and not wearing it should just shut up and take it, let me say Covid is bad and makes the risks involved in taking any kind of stand about anything that much higher, especially if it’s a collective response as this situation requires. Covid is bad. The knee on the neck is worse.

But still Covid is pretty bad,

I cannot remotely fathom a justice system in which this brute is not immediately behind bars.   If he's not, then it's not a justice system in any real sense of the word.

Kid,  Keith Ellison, the AG of Minnesota can advise the Hennepin County attorney to investigate the murder and file charges.   The decision would really be with Michael Freeman,  the county attorney.  In Minnesota that position is the equivalent of DA.  A position previously held by Amy Klobuchar, btw.

Quote
Conservative groups like the NRA—a nonprofit that is in dire need of some untraceable money as it deals with lawsuits and mismanagement—tell CNN that they are over the moon about this new policy, saying it "helps safeguard the legitimacy of the political process and helps ensure donors on both sides of the aisle will not be attacked for their beliefs."

So money = speech.  But let's hide who is making the speech to shield them from any response or responsibility.

Snowflake that!

Among the casualties of the protests: a six-story building under construction that was to provide nearly 200 apartments of affordable housing...

https://apnews.com/e27cfce9464809aa8c91afd74c930bb5

This aspect does sadden me greatly.   Most demonstrators are,  as always,  peaceful and sending a vital message.   I have to wonder if that particular arson was done by agents provocateur.   Hope the affordable housing builder had good insurance.   The long-term effect may be raised insurance premiums in neighborhoods where residents can least afford them.

AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine enters phase 2/3 clinical trial

The next stage of the program is set to enroll 10,260 people in the U.K. to generate results to support the first shipments to customers in September.
