Bernie Sanders is 100% correct.....any life-saving covid-19 vaccine must be free for every person.

Oh look! Another right winger who suddenly cares about the social effects of public policy! You know what else kills? The absence of medical insurance for the working poor, which your party has been pushing for for 10 years. Decreased social spending for housing, mental health, job training. Provide those services and maybe  necessary emergency steps wont have that effect.

Not just the working poor affected by changes to insurance policy provisions/restrictions.

Hadassah doctors crack the cause of fatal corona blood clots:
Researchers discovered that patients who form fatal blood clots have an increased level of alpha defensin protein in their blood.

Helps explain why traditional anti-coagulants and anti-platelet drugs weren't so effective.

But, again, not yet a paper or vetted.

I'm interested but not committed to believing it.

Black Lives Matter
Names on the back of players' jerseys will be replaced with 'Black Lives Matter' for the first 12 matches of the season as the Premier League responds to the anti-racism protests that have spread around the world, sparked by the death of George Floyd.
Players will also be supported if they decide to take a knee before or during the games and a Black Lives Matter badge will be visible on every shirt for the remainder of the season

Welcome back. English Premier League

The NBA has just released its 113-page guidelines for reopening its seaon in Orlando-Disneyworld. I haven't read it, but saw the highlights of it, and its a sobering thought the NBA has a more detailed science-based plan about resuming the sport, than the Trump Admininistration has about safely reopening the US.

ADD ANOTHER STATE TO the list of battlegrounds threatening President Donald Trump's reelection chances: Iowa, which a respected poll released Tuesday morning says is virtually tied in its choice between Trump and Democratic foe Joe Biden.

Trump, who won Iowa handily in 2016, is ahead of the former vice president by just a single percentage point, according to the Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll. Trump has 44% support, compared to 43% who say they will cast a ballot for Biden.

The trend against Trump has accelerated in recent months, as the coronavirus, economic crisis and outrage over the killings of African Americans in police custody have divided and anguished the nation. The poll shows that 22% of Iowans now believe the country is headed in the right direction, with 63% saying it's going in the wrong direction. As recently as March, the Iowa poll found that 46% of Hawkeye State voters thought the nation was headed in the right direction, with 44% believing the country was on the wrong path.

I note that you never responded to my query regarding your contention that COVID "pessimism" has killed people.

Over 750 people per day are dying of COVID (Pence considers this a victory, but others may disagree) despite the nationwide lock down that by any rational assessment is being lifted too soon in most places.

So please, again, explain how those initial assessments were overblown to the degree that deaths like that of the Playmate you point to (tragic, true) could have been avoided had they been more accurate.
