They are going backwards.

"and I told my people, STOP THE TESTING"

Ignorance may be bliss, but he's killing people with his ignorance.

And the morons cheer his misplaced bravado

And then his folks tried to explain that "obviously he was joking."

Trump is the Moses of morons.   "Let my people go untested! "

As for Tulsa, the city officials can't go anywhere, so were responsible.  The fact that Trump staffers got infected was a real red flag how dangerous and stupid this was.  Hopefully Trump campaign had attendees fill out pledge cards or got their names/info when folks got tickets, because contact tracing will be needed.  Even if it wasn't filled, there were still over 10K in an arena for over 2 hours.  And these are people too stupid and macho to wear face masks.

I saw it mentioned that this was largest public gathering in the world in the past 3 or 4 months.  A completely unnecessary super-spreader trial run campaign rally.

Trump Tulsa Rally is a slow motion Jonestown.

That was surreal.   And funny.   Loved the "don't be sheep,  think for yourself" guy.

I wonder why you are making up segregation, aside from trying to deflect from the bad look of your flailing god-king shitting his pants in Tulsa.

Making it up?

Maybe one of your brethren that is actually following th news can help you out.

The park where the athletic fields are was segregated by CHOP organizers - who are of course not admitting to organizing anything.

Did CNN or MSNBC cover the rally live?

I wonder why not.

Wouldnt the ridiculous musings of Trump be perfect for their base to see?  Or were they worried about folks on the fence being impressed?

Didn't watch.   Not sure campaign rallies are really news.   He's been having them for 3 1/2 years, with pretty much the same content.

There's also this thing some reporters want to avoid.   Rhymes with Pomona Cyrus.  It'll come to you.

Not really segregation.   A temporary space on Juneteenth for blacks to mourn and to heal quietly,  voluntarily, is not what "segregation" meant in the American South.

If that was segregation, then so is a breast cancer support group.   Or any specific social group that has gatherings.

Cuomo, Maddow, Limone, Hayes do not do news shows.

And yes, Trump's message is consistent.  But not the content.  That's the beauty of it.

Ripped Joe, Barack, Hillary pretty good - just the beginning

Yep.  Like the horse of much renown - REAL QUIET

By the way, Juneteenth is mostly not about mourning - its a celebration.

Because they've committed to not carrying advertisements full of lies unpaid.

And that's all it was, Kid - it was a campaign rally. Since when does any reputable network carry campaign rallies? The news there was (a) that it was happening, (b) the number of folks predicted to be there, (c) the throngs showing up way early, (d) the machinations to avoid any regulation like curfew or CDC recommendation, (e) the 6 advance team members coming down positive for COVID and their quarantining along with their immediate contacts, (f) that fewer than 7,000 folks attended the event, even after the plea texted to all 100,000 who ostensibly wanted to be there, and then (g) the things that were said.

Highlights got shown, of course:
1) He told his people to slow down the testing. Doesn't matter if it was truth, lie, or joke - a stupid thing to say and if it was a joke, he needed to say so THEN.
2) "Kung flu." Just in case anybody had forgotten what a racist he is, it was good of him to remind us. He got 18-27% of the Asian vote in 2016, depending on the exit poll. He seems intent upon reducing that this cycle.
3) His push to make flag-burning illegal (again), in his fake patriotism, in opposition to the 1st Amendment. Granted, that has always only meant "freedom of speech for Donald Trump and friends, nobody else," to him. He just formalized his opposition to the Constitution.

I suspect Bart et al know that.   If you read the FB page of chop,  you would have learned,  as Bart and I and others did,  that there was a "grief ritual" as part of the day,  as well as community healing.   Here's more,  for your enlightenment...

We’re blacking out CHOP…the viral death of black bodies was the catalyst for this current movement and we need to make sure we remain focused. This means both policy and systemic change to our systems and healing space for black people.

So that’s exactly what we’re creating. A series of events in which we center black healing and community.

So,  um, not entirely about partying.    Get the facts, next time,  before posting.

And he has his minions pushing his anti-Chinese rhetoric, as well.
