There aren't. But the idiot President thinks there are.

I'd probably argue that there are, but that the doltish president is measuring total tests rather than percentage of people who have been tested (which is unknown, but estimated from total tests administered), and using the former as his excuse for why we have by far the most cases -- while ignoring that we have by far the most deaths. If he looked at the percentages, he would have see bigger issues, so it is no wonder that he doesn't.

There is the special cruelty of doing this during a pandemic in which people are losing their employer provided health insurance, a cruelty which will be longer term as insurance companies may consider having had COVID a pre-existing condition and so could raise premiums for millions of Americans.

There is also the special stupidity of pursuing a hugely unpopular course of action when your polling is already in the tank.  At no point in his historically unpopular "presidency" was Trump more unpopular than when he was working with Republicans in Congress to throw 30 Million Americans off of their health insurance.

And there is the truly unique Trump-level idiocy in thinking that this will actually help him politically.  And you know he does, as he has no other reason for doing anything while playing "president" on TV.

In nicknamed "The Peoples Republic of Victoria"  state in bambuland, people returning from overseas must go into quarantine for 14 days, in hotels.
They are tested for coronavirus after 3 days, after 12 days, and before they leave after 14 days.
Some of them are now refusing to be tested.
They are going to be forced to take the tests, reportedly.
Not quite sure  how the forcing will be done...but having people like this refusing to be tested should not be allowed.
