This is not reporting. This is Fox news interviewing the woman who worked for four months under Flynn in the Trump Administration...
But OK, lets give this more attention than it deserves. Her "arguments"
1.
Russia can't afford to pay the bounties. They just don't have the money. Russia doesn't have $500,000 to enact a major policy objective in Afghanistan? Totally absurd.
2.
Russians hate the Taliban. Which means they could not see them as a useful tool to get the US out of Afghanistan? There are reports that Russia has been meeting with Taliban leaders. To set up the bounties? Maybe, maybe not. But we know they are talking.
3.
Why give the Taliban money to push Americans out when they are already leaving? They haven't left. And the speculation is that the attacks are meant to complicate the negotiations.
4.
Unverified intelligence should not go to the President because what if he acts on it and it turns out to not be true? Conversely, what if he offers the enemy leader a spot on the G7 when it turns out he has been trying to kill American and NATO troops? This is ridiculous. A President should be given the information, and allowed to determine what the appropriate response should be given the level of certainty.
They then spend the rest of the time talking about the Russia Hoax which has been conclusively shown to not, in fact, be a hoax.
Yeah, good reporting kiidcarter8. What was that about only getting the news you want to hear?
