Great inside look.   And the gun pointers were lawyers - who were committing a felony under MO law - it just gets better and better.   What also amused, is if you look at pictures of the whole mansion,  it's built like a fortress - just closing the doors would give the residents an impregnable retreat from any imagined marauders.

That would have been the smart thing to do, but you know his wife said, “Do something!”

Please, Barton.

Had the protesters simply been marching past, maybe that would have been fine - though in a private hood.

But clearly they were congregating outside the house.

They were going to protest at the mayor’s house.

Kudos to SCOTUS for finally sealing the coffin on the Catholic bigotry of James Blaine. His proposed Constitutional  Amendment Of the late 1800’s to bar tax money to parochial schools failed but 60 per cent of the states added similar provisions to their state constitutions. Today the court ruled if states give aid to
Private schools they cannot discriminate on the basis of religion.
A first amendment victory and a boost to school choice which could lead to better education for poor kids.

Trump should do an LBJ and excuse himself from running for a second term tin order to stop the violence and displeasure with his administration.

---If This Is Like 1968, Then Trump Is in Big Trouble
Trump campaigns like Richard Nixon and George Wallace, but in reality, he is Lyndon Johnson: a man who has lost control of the machine.--

both were bigoted narcissists.

US COVID-19 death rate has now fallen below 5%.

Falls in line now with world numbers

Rates are a lagging indicator. The numbers in NY Tri State are dramatically reduced while the Southeast and Southwest are ramping up.

Take a look at the world around you, kiid.

Do your kids see the world as you?

If so you’ve failed as an American.

Knicks--kid can barely add two numbers, good luck explaining to him lagging statistical indicators or the relationship between numerator and a rapidly rising denominator,

Nice editorial btw.

Yeah, because you're all about education and the poor.

The Court didn't rule that, btw. It ruled that a state couldn't discriminate regarding scholarships.

Do we have time to detail here how the Catholic Church has discriminated against Americans?

I mean, since discrimination seems to be another of your concerns.

Clever lawyers? Really?

Instead of grabbing their guns, they could've grabbed a pen and paper, scribbled BLM in block letters (which they profess to support) and taped it to a window.  With enough time, they could also have drawn another sign with an arrow pointing to mayor Krewson's street.

They were trying to act tough.

Elizabeth Warren :

(after comparing 20k new cases on May 12 with 40k yesterday)

"Our case rates are getting worse - and our DEATH RATES will be getting worse soon"

What???
Our case rates are getting worse - and our DEATH RATES will be getting worse soon"
Didn't realize you were hard of hearing. We can shout if you would like.

We have had a spurt of cases that have yet to progress to their ends. Since most of the people who will die have not yet died, the inclusion of that spurt lowers the rate of death temporarily.

Kiid won’t take a look at the world around him. He knows that if he does he’ll wind up in the Warren wing of the Democratic Party.

Instead of looking at the world he watches fox news and contents himself with a proctologist’s view of hell.

Uh, no.

Why not?

Folks put conditions on financial support all the time. I’ll continue to fund you and your socialized healthcare system if you stop stealing your neighbors land.

Yes,  lawyers know how to craft a good narrative so they're all ready for court.   As I said,  and Needs said,  and you have not responded to,  brandishing weapons and pointing them is provocative, escalates aggression,  and is a felony in Missouri.

Gated community.
Saw the man interviewed.
He says they were in fear of their lives, their pets lives...pets are people...from the marauding protesters who burst in to the gated community.
He says they were fearful the home they were in would be set on fire with them in it. (they and their pets burnt alive).
A very reasonable opinion to form given that violent protesters have burnt down "America" and people have died already in the streets.
What were they supposed to do, wait until their living room was on fire?
Wait until the protesters were smashing down their front door? Tossing fire bombs thru their windows?
They should arrive at their trial with the Fox News tape of the big Black guy who was protest organiser in NYC who was threatening to burn down the diamond district of NYC.

Decertifying all religious private schools would be an excellent remedy to the terrible decision by the court. Give your kids all the religious instruction you want, but for it to be recognized as education instruction has to come through a secular institution.
