CNN idiot headline of the day:

https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/12/health/michigan-coronavirus-torch-lake-sandbar/index.html

Like this one's better?

https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2020/07/13/torch-lake-sandbar-covid-19-outbreak/5427636002/

Weekend party at Torch Lake sandbar leads to coronavirus outbreak

Nope.  Same simplistic mindset

We dont want you going to beaches so when someone who went to the beach, someone who didnt follow our special rules gets COVID we are going to use it to cause hysteria...

The hysteria is yours.   Most people can adopt safety protocols into their lifestyle without becoming unhinged,  violent or claiming nonexistent constitutional rights to spread disease.   Crowds lead to viral spread.   Well established fact.   Been known since,  what,  the 1600s?  Even before they knew it was viruses.

The real problem is CNN doesn't have idiot headlines to soothe idiots like you with happy shiny fairy tales.

And the 2 cops killed Saturday in Texas were policing while Hispanic.
Which justifies the police killing of unarmed minorities? Is that your point?

Pertaining to Puerto Rico as a tourist destination...

The people from Poland, and from the Ukraine, and from other places where it is cold in the winter can go on vacation in Puerto Rico, where it is nice and warm and sunny. The people of Puerto Rico can market themselves as a tourist destination for the people from Eastern Europe, etc.

And of course people from Michigan, and from other states where it is cold in the winter will want to go on vacation in Puerto Rico.

Salute,

Tony V.
Trump wants to sell it. Maybe the Poles will buy it.

We are not going to sell Puerto Rico.

And we need to welcome them as an official state.

Salute,

Tony V.

Hairy was pulling your leg,  V-man.

One year old boy shot in the stomach in New York City

I think it was because the shooter was hungry.

You do understand that saying unemployment and penury leads to crime is not actually an endorsement of crime,  right?   Or meant to say that all crime is caused by poverty.   Feel free to share any other logic/reading problems you have.

You missed the hook.

Its ok - as you were

Nope,  saw the AOC comment.   Her big picture summation is not invalidated every time someone in a city of millions is not shot for bread.   Non-idiots can grasp when she is using a metaphor.

Months later, due to the degeneracy and ignorance of the republican death cult, we are once again running out of supplies.

Short supply of medical personnel - and of course good Americans are stepping up.

PPE supply - we are pretty much fine.

How nice for you.

Already, providers in states with severe coronavirus outbreaks have reported reusing protective gear in anticipation of avoiding a more serious shortage.

Dumb.

People died in NY because we were saving beds for patients that never came.

USE what you have,  If your administrators say otherwise it is on them

It's supposed to be close to 100 degrees with real high humidity here by the end of the week. The death knell for Covid-19 (some people say). AND NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON!

Uh huh.

You keep spinning and spinning, when it makes your fearful leader look better.

Can't you just come to grips with the simple fact that there has been a lack of federal management of this national issue and it has had negative consequences?

when you don't have a coordinated Federal policy nor a singular purchaser of needed goods, but rather encourage 50 stattes to bid against one another for medical supplies, price rises is the natural outcome. Supply and demand and pricing is not complicated.

It was as if our president who attended Wharton School somehow skipped all the econ claases, or he was really fucking dumb.

Or both.

The gross mismanagement of this tragedy wil be incorporated into the next version of the pandemic playbook in the "what not to do" chapter.

A post from 3/22/20

Quote from: bankshot1, post: 3823467, member: 9

Its as if the Federal government doesn't understand how or give a shit about supply/demand and prices work. when I first heard the Trump Admin. encourage states to fend for themsleves and having several competitors compete for a limited supply (for anything) has one outcome. That the Fed/FEMA didn't orchestrate an orderly supply process is insane.
