And no, he delegated to his VP after pushing him out of the way for weeks and his VP, who was sharp when he was first given the task, was given no platform and nothing to work with.

Which is why there continues to be no national response to the new PPE shortage (or to avoid having one).

Federal law enforcement officers have been using unmarked vehicles to drive around downtown Portland and detain protesters since at least July 14. Personal accounts and multiple videos posted online show the officers driving up to people, detaining individuals with no explanation of why they are being arrested, and driving off.

The tactic appears to be another escalation in federal force deployed on Portland city streets, as federal officials and President Donald Trump have said they plan to “quell” nightly protests outside the federal courthouse and Multnomah County Justice Center that have lasted for more than six weeks.

Fauci said they hadn't spoken since June 3 (I think it was).
And yes, CV response has been coordinated through Pence, who was tossing out a lot of Black is White, Water isn't Wet statements the past two weeks.

For Trump, the only thing that seems to matter to him is himself, his ratings, his popularity, his reelection.  Maybe the stock market.  Sick and dying folks don't interest him.

Bankshot's approach to discussion -- mockery, belittling, digging in, doubling down (and expecting others to do the same), while constantly claiming that he's winning -- is rather Trumpian.

Also, don't forget when Trump was praising armed groups who were going to state capitols demanding economies reopen.

Plus, trying to deploy the military on the streets.
