Hard to tell the truth when you don't have the foggiest what it is and cannot bring yourself to admit it, Ms. McEnany.

Quote
Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump said he doesn't know of a time he's taken more than one coronavirus test in a day, directly contradicting his press secretary in the first question of his press briefing Tuesday.

"I don't know about more than one," Trump responded to a reporter who asked why he was tested more than once a day. "I do probably on average a test every two days, three days, and I don't know of any time I've taken two in one day, but I could see that happening."
Speaking during a morning briefing just hours earlier, press secretary Kayleigh McEneny described Trump as the "most tested man in America" who doesn't risk spreading the virus to others.
"He's tested more than anyone, multiple times a day," she said. "And we believe that he's acting appropriately."

Clearly misspoke - and she would admit it

Happens to the best - even C J Cregg one time.

The U.S. has agreed to pay Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech  nearly $2 billion to secure 100 million doses of their experimental Covid-19 vaccine to provide to Americans free of charge.

Under the $1.95 billion agreement, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Defense Department will receive 100 million doses of the vaccine should it be cleared by regulators, and can also acquire an additional 500 million doses. The vaccine, which has shown promising preliminary results in small groups of patients, is set to enter late-stage testing this month.

Maybe.  Maybe she meant to say multiple times a week.

But she's taken to uttering trumpian exaggerations, such as that Trump is the most informed man in the world.

I think it's most likely she's a huge bs-er tossing out nonsense at will.   And getting away with what she can.  Defending trump has to be one of the crappier political jobs, especially since he'll sour and turn on underlings sooner or later.

You were also pretty sure the death toll would continue to go down, weren’t you.

Never had any real idea what this virus would do - though leaning toward optimism is my usual state.

"We will NOT shrink from our duty!"

-  Chad Wolf, re:  Portland issue

Wolf in an interview on Fox said his forces are making “proactive arrests” in Portland.

Tell me a way to interpret that statement that doesn’t point to it being a blatantly unconstitutional abuse.

Those arrested have made moves on officers or on the federal property

If you have information that contradicts this let us know.

When the CBP troops first arrived in Portland, the number of demonstrators was down to about 100.

It's up to 1,000 now.

By all means, send in the CBP troops to more cities. It's one surefire way to get turnout and activism numbers up!

100 in the day

1000 at night

This is in agreement with Cuccinelli (per CNN interview with Butt Cuomo)

The opposite?  Hardly.  It's just something you approve.  You can admit to a little hypocrisy once in awhile.  We all do.  Why should the taxpayer pay for other's vaccines?  I can pay for my own.  Socialism!!!!

http://dailykos.com/stories/2020/7/21/1962766/-George-Will-will-vote-for-his-first-Democrat-this-November-because-it-s-also-about-national-security

A growing group of Viktor Frankensteins feeing remorse for letting the Monster out of their laboratory.

Will was on Lawrence O'Donnell last night discussing this and basically said his R-party stopped being Republican, but he did not stop being a conservative.

And that the morning after Biden gets elected (decisively) he will voice concern over Biden policies.

He just wants to reset to "normal".

Which, IMO, is normal political discussion and the way it should be and how democracies should work

What Trump and the Rs are engaged is is a perversion of our normal political discourse and toxic to our culture.

And most normal people get it.

Will also said that if he had lived in NY in the 80s he would have voted for and lost his D-cherry to Daniel Patrick Moyhihan for Senator.

Quite right,  Kid,  making public jokes about injuring people,  or generally inciting violence is wrong.   Could you tell Trump that?   He hasn't got that memo yet.
