Vermont is imposing a mask mandate as of August 1st.

It's only a mandate if you have to wear it 100% of the time.

No. That's one of the stupidest things you have ever said.

The Democrats might have to have the Senate to get Rice confirmed as Secretary of State.

They’d gonna have to run the Senate to get ANYTHING done.

The Dems have to have the Senate to keep the nation sliding of the rails. The same is true for the House and the White House.

So...you should read both papers, if you can afford to do so.

OK.  Sure.

But to be clear, the analysis you posted supports the idea that they are not equally biased.

But they are ALLOWED to be.

https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/lifestyle/social_issues/americans_say_blacks_more_racist_than_whites_hispanics_asians

I don't think you read that the way it was written.

The piece is how groups view racism among other groups.

Still, let's look at this part of the piece. "Democrats see whites as the most racist group of Americans. Republicans and unaffiliated adults view blacks as the most racist."

Does it surprise you that this was among their findings?

Based on each party's platform and policies, it really should be no surprise, don't you agree, kid?

Did I argue that they were "equally biased"?  No, I didn't.

Don't you think that it is smart to read both papers? I mean, doesn't that make sense in order to challenge your own biases?

And I do recommend you read the full reports on that site, before you continue further with deciding that my original opinion of the WSJ and its competitors is less than valid.

Did I argue that they were "equally biased"?  No, I didn't.

Yes, you did.

The WSJ is no more or less partisan than its competitors

Don't you think that it is smart to read both papers? I mean, doesn't that make sense in order to challenge your own biases?

The question of whether or not it is smart to read biased material to know the other side of an argument is immaterial to the original discussion.  And if you read biased material while telling yourself that it is no more or less biased than its competitors then you are doing yourself a disservice.

And I do recommend you read the full reports on that site, before you continue further with deciding that my original opinion of the WSJ and its competitors is less than valid.

The material you posted from that site demonstrated that your original opinion of the WSJ and its competitors is less than valid.

I don't need to read others opinion.  I have read the WSJ Editorials and the NYTs Editorials and are familiar with their work, and formed my own opinion which I stated, and backed up with fact.

Maybe try doing the same instead of relying on the analysis of others.

Then why are you here?

I don't need to read others opinion re: the subject we were discussing, UNO.

You play gotcha by taking something I wrote out of context, while not acknowledging anything I wrote on the conversation we were having...you are a true model on how to have civil discussion on a forum.  If only we could all be more like you.

Generally speaking Americans don’t like socialism and Donald Trump’s re-election campaign must focus on Joe Biden’s capitulation to the “far left thugs that are rioting and looting and setting fire to things in the USA at the moment,” she said.

Indeed.

So, for example, on that website, I found this: A 2014 Pew Research Survey found that 41% of the Wall Street Journal’s audience is consistently or mostly liberal, 24% Mixed and 35% consistently or mostly conservative. This indicates that they are slightly preferred by a more liberal audience.

Liberals love it!

And there was this:In review, the NYT utilizes emotionally loaded language in their headlines such as “Trump Again Falsely Blames Democrats for His Separation Tactic” and “A Financier’s Profit-Minded Mission to Open a Channel Between Kushner and North Korea”, however, they use credible sources such as law.cornell.edu, Financial Times, and The Washington Post. Story selection is typically balanced, however, wording tends to lean left in most cases.

Like the old joke, "it's all in the delivery".

So, the WSJ gets rated as Right center bias and the NYT gets Left Center Bias, Which is like I said---the WSJ is no more nor less biased than its competitors----which is not the same as saying they are equally biased.

Both papers were judged to use "loaded words" to favor their causes.

So, pedantic one, I proved my original point, which you argued wasn't valid.

The question of whether or not it is smart to read biased material to know the other side of an argument is immaterial to the original discussion.. No, not immaterial at all. It's related to it, and it allows for further exploration of biased media to people whose minds are open.

Yours is not. This is why you don't wish to discuss it.

Because you think you're smarter than all the media, no matter the source.

And you've presented no facts here, but you have proved that you are indeed a real flaming asshole.

And the trouble with a real flaming asshole, such as yourself, is that no one can ever make a real flaming asshole feel like what he truly is.

Game. Set. Match.

Thanks for playing, loser.
